Yen Hsing-su, also known as Johnny Yen, is a Taiwanese basketball coach and former basketball player, singer and actor. Since 2017 he has been the assistant coach of the Chinese Taipei men's national basketball team. From 2015 to 2017 he coached the Fubon Braves in Taiwan's Super Basketball League.

On July 1, 2022, the Taoyuan Pilots hired Iurgi Caminos, the head coach of the Taichung Wagor Suns, as their new head coach. On September 18, the Suns promoted Alberto Garcia, the assistant coach of the Taichung Wagor Suns, as their new head coach. On October 25, the Suns named Chris Gavina as their new head coach.

The 2023 T1 League draft was the third edition of the T1 League's annual draft. It was held on July 14, 2023, at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park Warehouse 1 in Taipei City. There were six teams joined the draft, including the Kaohsiung Aquas, New Taipei CTBC DEA, Taichung Suns, Tainan TSG GhostHawks, Taipei City team, and the TaiwanBeer Leopards. There were 41 players participated in the draft, and 7 players were chosen in 2 rounds.

The regular season started on October 28, 2023 and ended on April 28, 2024. The semifinals series started on May 4 and ended on May 14. The finals series started on May 24 and ended on June 1. On June 1, the Taiwan Beer Leopards defeated the Taipei Mars, 4–0, winning the 2023–24 season championship.
The 2023–24 Taiwan Beer Leopards season was the franchise's 3rd season, its third season in the T1 League. On August 14, 2023, the Leopards named Michael Olson as their new head coach. On January 13, 2024, the Leopards announced to terminate contract relationship with Michael Olson, and named Chou Chun-San, the consultant of the Taiwan Beer Leopards, as their interim head coach. On February 15, the Leopards named Charles Dube-Brais, the assistant coach of the Taiwan Beer Leopards, as their new head coach.
Chiang Yu-an is a Taiwanese basketball player for the Formosa Dreamers of the Taiwan Professional Basketball League (TPBL).
