Sudhanshu Shekhar Parida is an Indian politician. He has been a member of the Odisha Legislative Assembly for Remuna since 2019. [1]
On Sepetember 21,2023,he was expelled from the party after following allegations that he siphoned off Rs.3 crore government subsidy amount meant for farmers during purchase of paddy harvester during 2017–18 and 2019–20. [2]

Odisha,formerly Orissa,is an Indian state located in Eastern India. It is the eighth-largest state by area,and the eleventh-largest by population,with over 41 million inhabitants. The state also has the third-largest population of Scheduled Tribes in India. It neighbours the states of Jharkhand and West Bengal to the north,Chhattisgarh to the west,and Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to the south. The Biju Janata Dal is an Indian regional political party with significant influence in the state of Odisha. It was founded by the former minister of mines and minerals of the Republic of India Naveen Patnaik on 26 December 1997 as a breakaway faction from the Janata Dal. The BJD is led by its founder as president of the party. The headquarters of the party is located in Forest Park,Bhubaneswar.
Naveen Patnaik is an Indian statesman,politician and writer serving as the current and 15th Chief Minister of Odisha representing the Hinjili Assembly constituency since 2000. He is the longest-serving chief minister of Odisha and as of 2024,the 2nd longest-serving chief minister of any Indian state,holding the post for over two decades,and only the second Indian chief Minister after Pawan Chamling to win five consecutive terms as Chief Minister of an Indian state. Vote counting for the assembly election took place on May 23,concluding before the previous Odisha Assembly's term expiration on June 11.
