The Parliament of India is the supreme legislative body of the Republic of India. It is a bicameral legislature composed of the president of India and two houses:the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha. The president in his role as head of the legislature has full powers to summon and prorogue either house of Parliament or to dissolve the Lok Sabha. The president can exercise these powers only upon the advice of the prime minister and his Union Council of Ministers.
Ram Vilas Paswan was an Indian politician from Bihar and the Cabinet Minister of Consumer Affairs,Food and Public Distribution in the first and second Modi ministries. Paswan was also the president of the Lok Janshakti Party,nine-times Lok Sabha member and two-time Rajya Sabha MP. He started his political career as member of Samyukta Socialist Party and was elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly in 1969. Later,Paswan joined Lok Dal upon its formation in 1974,and became its general secretary. He opposed the emergency,and was arrested during this period. He first entered the Lok Sabha in 1977,as a Janata Party member from Hajipur constituency,and was elected again in 1980,1989,1991,1996,1998,1999,2004 and 2014.
The 14th Lok Sabha was convened after the 2004 Indian general election held in four phases during 20 April –10 May 2004,which led to the formation of first Manmohan Singh ministry (2004–2009). Indian National Congress-led United Progressive Alliance won 62 more seats than previous 13th Lok Sabha. The Lok Sabha is the lower house in the Parliament of India. 8 sitting members from Rajya Sabha,the Upper House of Indian Parliament,were elected to 14th Lok Sabha after the 2004 Indian general election.
Tikamgarh is a town and a tehsil in Tikamgarh district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The city serves as a district headquarters. The earlier name of Tikamgarh was Tehri consisting of three hamlets,forming a rough triangle. In Tikamgarh town there is locality still known as 'Purani Tehri'. Until Indian independence in 1947,Tikamgarh,formerly called Tehri,was part of the kingdom of Orchha,which was founded in the 16th century by the Bundeli chief Rudra Pratap Singh,who became the first King of Orchha. In 1783 the capital of the state was moved to Tehri,about 40 miles (64 km) south of Orchha,which was home to the fort of Tikamgarh,and the town eventually took the name of the fort. The district is famous for the old fort of Kundar known as Garh Kundar,which was built by Khangars and remained the capital of Khangar rulers from 1180 to 1347.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan is an Indian politician and member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is the 17th and current Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh,having been elected to the same position 3 times in the past,and a Member of Legislative Assembly in Madhya Pradesh from Budhni. He previously served as the Chief Minister of the Madhya Pradesh,between 2005 and 2018,and holds the record as the state's longest serving Chief Minister. He was also former National Vice-president,member of the Parliamentary Board and a member of the Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Chaudhary Ajit Singh was an Indian politician. He was a big Jat community leader. He was the founder and chief of the Rashtriya Lok Dal,a political party recognized in western part of state of Uttar Pradesh,and son of former Prime Minister of India late Chaudhary Charan Singh. He had tested positive for COVID-19 on 22 April 2021 and was admitted in a Gurugram hospital. He died on 6 May 2021 after his condition deteriorated.

The dynastic phenomenon is present at the national,state,regional,and district level. In addition to the major national parties,other national and regional parties such as Shiromani Akali Dal,Shiv Sena,Samajwadi Party,Rashtriya Janata Dal,Janata Dal Secular,Jharkhand Mukti Morcha,Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam,Kerala Congress,Jammu &Kashmir National Conference,Indian Union Muslim League,AIMIM,and the Nationalist Congress Party are all dominated by families,mostly those of the party founders.
Sahib Singh Verma was an Indian politician and the former senior vice-president of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He served as Chief Minister of Delhi (1996–1998) and was member of 13th Lok Sabha,Parliament of India (1999–2004). He served as the Union Labour Minister of India.
Vijayender Pal Singh Badnore is an Indian politician who was the 28th Governor of Punjab. He was a member of Rajya Sabha,elected on 17 June 2010. He was earlier a member of the 14th Lok Sabha and 13th Lok Sabha of the Indian Parliament. In films,he is notable for appearances in Swarg,Shola Aur Shabnam,Pratha,Namestey LA,and Son of Flower. He was an actor/producer until the late 2000s,when he became a politician interested in civil rights and statehood for his native Bundelkhand in India.
