Sujan Singh Bundela is an Indian politician. He was elected to the Lok Sabha,the lower house of the Parliament of India from Jhansi,Uttar Pradesh as a member of the Indian National Congress. [1] [2] [3]
The Parliament of India is the supreme legislative body of the Republic of India. It is a bicameral legislature composed of the president of India and two houses:the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha. The president in his role as head of the legislature has full powers to summon and prorogue either house of Parliament or to dissolve the Lok Sabha. The president can exercise these powers only upon the advice of the prime minister and his Union Council of Ministers.
Ram Vilas Paswan was an Indian politician from Bihar and the Cabinet Minister of Consumer Affairs,Food and Public Distribution in the first and second Modi ministries. Paswan was also the president of the Lok Janshakti Party,nine-times Lok Sabha member and two-time Rajya Sabha MP. He started his political career as member of Samyukta Socialist Party and was elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly in 1969. Later,Paswan joined Lok Dal upon its formation in 1974,and became its general secretary. He opposed the emergency,and was arrested during this period. He first entered the Lok Sabha in 1977,as a Janata Party member from Hajipur constituency,and was elected again in 1980,1989,1991,1996,1998,1999,2004 and 2014.

Tikamgarh is a town and a tehsil in Tikamgarh district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The city serves as a district headquarters. The earlier name of Tikamgarh was Tehri consisting of three hamlets,forming a rough triangle. In Tikamgarh town there is locality still known as 'Purani Tehri'. Until Indian independence in 1947,Tikamgarh,formerly called Tehri,was part of the kingdom of Orchha,which was founded in the 16th century by the Bundeli chief Rudra Pratap Singh,who became the first King of Orchha. In 1783 the capital of the state was moved to Tehri,about 40 miles (64 km) south of Orchha,which was home to the fort of Tikamgarh,and the town eventually took the name of the fort. The district is famous for the old fort of Kundar known as Garh Kundar,which was built by Khangars and remained the capital of Khangar rulers from 1180 to 1347.
