Sujith Vaassudev is an Indian cinematographer and film director who works predominantly in Malayalam films. He has also worked in several Tamil and Telugu films. [1] He is best known for his works in Memories (2013), 7th Day (2014), Drishyam (2014) and Lucifer (2019). He was the recipient of the Kerala State Film Award for Best Cinematographer in 2013.
Started his career as a camera assistant in a studio called Sangeetha Vision in Trivandrum. From there he gradually built his knowledge in cinematography by assisting many cameramen. [2] He started his first independent works for television in 1998. He has done more than 1000 episodes for television for various Malayalam channels. He assisted Raja Rathinam for a while in cinematography. Sujith made his debut with Chekavar a 2010 Malayalam film. His best works include Drishyam , 7th Day , Memories , Ayaal , Anarkali .
Sujith Vaassudev won the 2013 Kerala State Film Award for Best Cinematography for the films Ayaal and Memories .
In 2016 he debuted as a director through the film James & Alice starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Vedhika.
Sujith married actress Manju Pillai on 23 December 2000. The couple has a daughter Daya Sujith.
Sujith and Manju Pillai have been separated since 2020 and divorced in 2024 [3]

Shaji Neelakantan Karun is an Indian film director and cinematographer. His debut film Piravi (1988) won the Caméra d'Or – Mention d'honneur at the 1989 Cannes Film Festival. He was the premiere chairman of the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, the first academy for film and TV in India and was also the executive chairman of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) from 1998 to 2001. He is best known for his award-winning films Piravi (1988), Swaham (1994), Vanaprastham (1999) and Kutty Srank (2009). He won the National Award for Best Director for his debut film Piravi. He also won two Kerala State Film Awards for Best Director for his films Swaham and Vanaprastham. Currently, he is the Chairman of Kerala State Film Development Corporation.

He has been the recipient of four National Film Awards, including three for Best Cinematography and one Indira Gandhi Award for Best Debut Film of a Director, and four Kerala State Film Awards. Rajeev Ravi is an Indian cinematographer, director, and producer from Kochi, Kerala. He's best known for his work in Hindi and Malayalam films. After graduating from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune in 1997, he started his career by assisting in the Malayalam film, Pranayavarnangal (1998) shot by Santosh Thundiyil. He debuted as a cinematographer with the film Chandni Bar (2001), when he was launched by producer R. Mohan when the original cinematographer Venu had date clashes. The film was directed by Madhur Bhandarkar.
