Sukia were an American electronic band, based in Camarillo, California, United States, that featured former child actor Ross Harris, who in the 1970s acted in shows such as CHiPS and the Little House on the Prairie .

Little House on the Prairie is an American western drama television series, starring Michael Landon, Melissa Gilbert, Karen Grassle, and Melissa Sue Anderson, about a family living on a farm in Walnut Grove, Minnesota, in the 1870s and 1880s. The show is an adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder's best-selling series of Little House books. Television producer and NBC executive Ed Friendly became aware of the story in the early 1970s. He asked Michael Landon to direct the pilot movie. Landon agreed on the condition that he could also play Charles Ingalls.
Formed in the early 1990s, amidst the burgeoning Los Angeles indie music scene, Sukia took their name from the Italian vampire comic book of the same name. [1] Their only released album was Contacto Espacial con el Tercer Sexo (1996), which was produced by the Dust Brothers and Jerry Finn, released on the Dust Brothers label, Nickelbag Records in the United States and through Mo Wax Records in the United Kingdom.

Sukia was a vampire-themed Italian comics series by Renzo Barbieri and Fulvio Bosttoli published by Edifumetto from 1978 to 1986, for a total of 153 albums and 6 extra albums. In the series Sukia faces people or creatures who are trying to do some form of harm to the world or other. Sukia is displayed as an antihero since she at times helps people fight crimes against humanity or committing crimes for personal gain. Each issue usually was self-contained.
Dust Brothers are Los Angeles, California-based, songwriters and producers, E.Z. Mike and King Gizmo, famous for their sample-based music in the 1980s and 1990s, and specifically for their work on the albums Paul's Boutique by the Beastie Boys, Odelay and Guero by Beck, the soundtrack to the film Fight Club and "MMMBop" by Hanson.
Following their dissolution, Sukia have gained a cult following from the release of the above titled album, and also alternate versions of the songs "Gary Super Macho" and "The Dream Machine".
