Sule Shangri-La Hotel (formerly, Traders Hotel) is a hotel located in downtown Yangon. It was the tallest building in Myanmar from 1996 to 1999. [3] [4] The 466-room hotel used to be known as Traders Hotel before it was rebranded in 2014 as Sule Shangri-La Yangon by its owner Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. [5]

The Shangri-La Hotel is a 43-floor hotel tower in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The tower has a total structural height of 200 m. Construction of the Shangri-La Hotel was completed in July, 2003. It was built by South African construction firm Murray and Roberts, now renamed Concor.

The Yangon Stock Exchange opened in December 2015, at the former Central Bank of Myanmar and Myawaddy Bank headquarters in Yangon. On 23 December 2014, two Japanese firms, Daiwa Institute of Research, the research arm of Daiwa Securities Group and Japan Exchange Group, established a joint venture with the state-owned Myanma Economic Bank to establish this stock exchange. The joint venture firm, the Yangon Stock Exchange-Joint Venture Limited will have a working capital of US$31 million. The Securities and Exchange Commission has selected Kanbawza Bank to be YSX' settlement bank.

The Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel Tainan, is skyscraper hotel completed in 1993 in East District, Tainan, Taiwan. It is one of the earliest skyscrapers in Tainan and as of December 2020, it is still the tallest building in the city. The architectural height of the building is 140 m (460 ft) with its antenna reaching 153 m (502 ft), and it comprises 38 floors above ground, as well as six basement levels, with a floor area of around 70,000 m2 (750,000 sq ft).
