Suleiman Elias Bogoro (born 6 June 1958) is a professor of Animal Science,specializing in Biochemistry and Ruminant Nutrition,who served as the 5th and 8th Executive Secretary of Tertiary Education Trust Fund (abb. TETFund) in Nigeria. [1] [2]
Professor Suleiman Elias Bogoro,a local of Gwarangah in Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State. He holds a bachelor's degree in (B.Sc. in Agriculture) from the University of Maiduguri. After that,he acquired an M.Sc. in Animal Science from Ahmadu bello University,Zaria,later he earned a Ph.D. in Animal Science from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (A.B.T.U) with composite research and bench-work similarly divided among A.T.B.U,The Rowett Research Institute,Aberdeen,Scotland,and The Department of Clinical Veterinary Medicine,University of Cambridge,United Kingdom. Prof. Suleiman Elias Bogoro was first named as the Executive Secretary of TETFund in April 2014 by President Goodluck Jonathan. In his first residency,he prompted the production of the Department of Research and Development at TETFund. [5] [6] [7] He was disengaged on 15 February 2016 by President Muhammadu Buhari,who later restored him as Executive Secretary on January 21,2019,having been examined and found not guilty. The Federal Government expressed that his disengagement "ab initio" was done in error. [8] [9] [10] On 2 March 2022,Muhammad Buhari appoint Sonny Echono,to take over from Elias,following the end of his administration. [11]
Prof. Suleiman Elias Bogoro became a professor in 2003. He has several publications with local and international journals and has mentored postgraduate understudies through master and Ph.D. programs. He has conveyed more than multiple high-profile public lectures in very diverse areas of development challenge and policy. [12]

Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa was a Nigerian politician who served as the first and only prime minister of Nigeria upon independence. A conservative Anglophile,he favoured maintaining close ties with the British. During his first few years in office as prime minister,Nigeria was a constitutional monarchy with Elizabeth II reigning as Queen of Nigeria,until Nigeria became a republic in 1963. Abubarkar Tafawa Balewa Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Bauchi,Nigeria. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of the Wikki Tourists. The stadium has a capacity of 11,000 and was opened in 1985 and named after Nigeria's first prime minister,Tafawa Balewa.

He was the founding vice chancellor of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi and emeritus professor of the University of Lagos. He was a pioneer of engineering education in Nigeria and reputed as a great teacher. He became one of the first Nigerians to be awarded the degree of Doctor of Science (DSc) in 1976 - awarded by London University in engineering.
Samaila Suleiman is a Nigerian politician who served as a member of the House of Representatives of Nigeria representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency of Kaduna State from 2015 to 2023.
