"Summer of Love" is a dance-pop song performed by Australian singer-songwriter Dannii Minogue. The Extended Mix of the song was released worldwide on 7 March 2015 and features a rap section by British rapper Reece.
In February 2015,Dannii Minogue announced that,after a long hiatus,she planned to make her musical comeback on Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. Minogue also revealed she had been working on new music. [1]
Following the announcement,Minogue,Reece and the official Sydney Mardi Gras profiles launched a mysterious online campaign on social media featuring the #pressplay hashtag. Finally,at the end of February,Sydney Mardi Gras shared a YouTube link to a video called #pressplay,featuring the Extended Mix of "Summer of Love". [2]

Danielle Jane "Dannii" Minogue is an Australian singer,television personality,and actress. She first gained recognition for her appearances on the television show Young Talent Time (1982–1988) and for her role as Emma Jackson on the soap opera Home and Away (1989–1990). Minogue began her music career in the early 1990s,achieving early success with her debut studio album,Love and Kisses (1991),which was certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry,and included the hit singles "Love and Kisses","Baby Love","Jump to the Beat" and "Success". Following the release of her second album,Get into You (1993),Minogue's popularity as a singer had declined,leading her to make a name for herself with award-winning performances in theatre productions.
Australian singer Dannii Minogue has released five studio albums,eight compilation albums,twenty-eight singles,twenty-three music videos,and five video albums. Minogue rose to prominence in the early 1980s for her roles in the Australian television talent show Young Talent Time and in the soap opera Home and Away,before commencing her career as a pop singer in the early 1990s.
Love and Kisses is the international debut studio album by Australian singer Dannii Minogue. It was released by MCA Records on 3 June 1991,in the United Kingdom. The album,featuring artwork shot by Simon Fowler serves as the international issue of Minogue's original Australian debut album,Dannii,with two additional recordings and new mixes. In November 1991,the album was reissued worldwide,including Australia,as Love and Kisses and... with additional remixes. In August 1991,the album was certified Gold in the UK,and its reissue has sold more than 75,000 units. The album was reissued again in 2009 featuring B-sides and remixes.
The Remixes is a double-disc remixes compilation album by Australian singer Dannii Minogue. It was released by Mushroom Records on 3 November 1998 in Australia. It was released alongside The Singles and features remixes of singles from the albums Love and Kisses,Get into You and Girl. It also features the B-side "Hallucination" taken from the "Jump to the Beat" single. Remixes of "Love's on Every Corner" or the club commissioned "Heaven Can Wait" were not included.
