Sun Creature Studio

Sun Creature Studio is a Danish animation studio. It was founded in 2014 when the creators launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the production of the animated series The Reward: Tales of Alethrion. [1] In 2016 it collaborated with fellow Danish production company Final Cut for Real to produce Flee , an animated documentary film about a young Afghan refugee in Denmark. [2]

It later produced three advertisements for Travel Oregon called "Only Slightly Exaggerated" (2018), "Only Slightly (More) Exaggerated" (2019), and ""Still Only Slightly Exaggerated" (2021), all of which included Oregon landscapes animated in the style of Hayao Miyazaki. [3] [4] [5] [6] As of 2019 Sun Creature has been added to the talent roster of Blacklist, a production company owned by Psyop. [1]

In 2019, Sun Creature Studios produced the animation for an episode of the Netflix animated anthology series "Love, Death & Robots." The episode is called "Alternate Histories." It is included in Volume 1 of the series.[ citation needed ]

<i>Creature Comforts</i> British television series

Creature Comforts is a British adult stop-motion comedy mockumentary franchise originating in a 1989 British humorous animated short film of the same name. The film matched animated zoo animals with a soundtrack of people talking about their homes, making it appear as if the animals were being interviewed about their living conditions. It was created by Nick Park and Aardman Animations. The film later became the basis of a series of television advertisements for the electricity boards in the United Kingdom, and in 2003, a television series in the same style was released. An American version of the series was also made.

Love, Death & Robots is an adult animated anthology streaming television series created by Tim Miller and streaming on Netflix. Although the series is produced by Blur Studio, individual episodes are produced by different animation studios from a range of countries and explore diverse genres, particularly comedy, horror, science fiction, and fantasy. Each episode is connected to one or more of the three titular concepts. Miller serves as the showrunner and producer alongside Joshua Donen, David Fincher, and Jennifer Miller; most episodes are written by Philip Gelatt, mostly adapting written works.
