Sunday's Best was an American emo band formed in 1997.
The band's start came at KXLU, Loyola Marymount University's famous college radio station, where guitarist Ian Moreno, singer/bassist Ed Reyes, and drummer Tom Ackerman (formerly of Skiploader) all worked at in the late 1990s. Moreno and Reyes started the band with singer/guitarist Pedro Benito, a friend of Reyes's, and recorded the band's first 7" single in 1998, before recruiting Ackerman to play drums. In 1999, they put out their first EP, the seven-song Where You Are Now, and in 2000, they followed with their first LP, Poised to Break, on Polyvinyl. In 2002, their second album The Californian appeared, showcasing the group's cleanest pop sound yet. The band slowly parted ways over the next few years, though frontman Ed Reyes and guitarist Ian Moreno have since started a new band, The Little Ones. Benito plays in The Jealous Sound while James Tweedy played in The Bronx. Tom Ackerman joined Post-Hardcore band, The Kite-Eating Tree.
Sunday's Best has appeared frequently in the Amped series of games, which were released on the Xbox. The songs featured include "Don't Let it Fade" and "Our Left Coast Ambitions," and are believed by fans of the band to "add new highs" to the gameplay. "Brave, but Brittle..." was featured in the Xbox game Amped 2 . The song "Without Meaning" appears in the film Waiting... and many other tracks have appeared on the short-lived animated television shows Clone High USA and Undergrads . Sunday's Best have also been heard during Fox show The Loop , during the episode "Bear Drop Soup". The song featured in that episode is "Indian Summer". In the popular Gilmore Girls series "Saccharine" can be heard playing in the background of a party in the episode Keg!Max! from season three.
Anthrax is an American heavy metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by rhythm guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker. The group is considered one of the leaders of the thrash metal scene from the 1980s and is part of the "Big Four" of the genre, along with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer. They were also one of the first thrash metal bands to emerge from the East Coast. The band has released 11 studio albums, several other albums, and 26 singles, including collaborating on a single with American hip hop group Public Enemy. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Anthrax sold 2.5 million records in the United States from 1991 to 2004, with worldwide sales of 10 million. Four of the band's studio albums have also achieved gold certifications by the RIAA, including their third full-length record Among the Living (1987), which cemented Anthrax's reputation as one of the most successful thrash metal bands.
Around the Fur is the second studio album by American alternative metal band Deftones, released on October 28, 1997 by Maverick Records. The songs "My Own Summer " and "Be Quiet and Drive " were released as singles with accompanying music videos.
The Rentals are an American rock band fronted by vocalist Matt Sharp, best known as the former bassist for Weezer. Sharp has been the only consistent member since the group's inception. The band's best selling single is "Friends of P" (1995). The Rentals released two albums, Return of the Rentals (1995) and Seven More Minutes (1999) on Maverick Records before quietly splitting in 1999 following a world tour. The group reformed in 2005 and have since released several EPs and two more full-length albums, Lost in Alphaville and Q36. Lost in Alphaville released August 26, 2014, on Polyvinyl Records. Q36 was released June 26, 2020. Numerous musicians have appeared with the group on recordings and in live shows. The group's most recent iteration consists of Sharp, Nick Zinner, and Ronnie Vannucci Jr.
Taking Back Sunday is an American alternative rock/emo band from Long Island, New York. The band was formed by guitarist Eddie Reyes in 1999. The band's members are Adam Lazzara, John Nolan, Shaun Cooper, and Mark O'Connell (drums), accompanied by Nathan Cogan (guitar) for their live performances. Nolan and Cooper left the group in 2003 before rejoining in 2010.
Ian Robert Astbury is a British singer and songwriter. He is best known as a founding member and lead vocalist for the rock band the Cult. He is noted for his distinctive voice and flamboyant stage presence.
The Jealous Sound was an American band based in Los Angeles that, as of August 2012, consisted of vocalist and guitarist Blair Shehan, guitarist Michael Richardson, bassist Jeremy Tappero, and drummer Bob Penn. In 2012, Richardson replaced original member, Pedro Benito on lead guitar. Benito has moved into film and television score composition. Categorized as an indie rock band, the Jealous Sound released its second and last full-length album, A Gentle Reminder, on January 31, 2012.

Gob is a Canadian punk rock band from Langley, British Columbia, formed in 1993. The band consists of Tom Thacker, Theo Goutzinakis, Gabe Mantle and Steven Fairweather. Juno nominated for best new group in 2000, and another Juno nomination for best video in 2002. Gob's most successful album is World According to Gob. Their best-selling songs to date are "I Hear You Calling", "Soda", and "Banshee Song". They have been featured in movies, TV shows, and many sporting video games such as NHL 2002, NHL 2003, NHL 2004 and Madden NFL 2004 with songs such as "Oh! Ellin", "I've Been Up These Steps", "Sick With You", "I Hear You Calling" and "Give Up The Grudge". The band has appeared at several music festivals, the most well-known being the Vans Warped Tour. Thacker is also a lead guitarist for fellow Canadian rock band Sum 41.

"Institutionalized" is a song by American crossover thrash band Suicidal Tendencies. It was released in 1983 as the only single from their debut album, Suicidal Tendencies. "Institutionalized" is one of the band's most popular songs and has remained a live staple since it was first played in 1982. The song was re-recorded on the band's 1993 album Still Cyco After All These Years; this version was nominated for the Grammy for Best Metal Performance in 1994, but lost to Ozzy Osbourne's live version of "I Don't Want to Change the World".

Initially a solo project, the band currently features Kempner on vocals/guitar, Jesse Weiss on drums and Larz Brogan on bass.
