Agam Regency is a regency of West Sumatra, Indonesia. It has an area of 2,232.30 km² and a population of 455,484 at the 2010 Census; in January 2014 this had risen to 478,490. The capital is Lubuk Basung. Bukittinggi city is surrounded by this regency but is not administratively included in it.

Although the remnants of the mound and some cannons can still be seen, the original buildings on top of the sconce has been demolished.
