Sunny Singh (born 18 December 1986 in Jind, Haryana, India) is an Indian cricketer. [1] He plays for Haryana in the Ranji Trophy. [2] [3] Singh is a right-hand batsman who is an occasional medium pacer. Singh is a part of the Kings XI Punjab team of the Indian Premier League. [4] He has also played for the India Under-19 cricket team in the 2004 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. [5] [6]

Career

When he was 17, Singh began in first-class cricket with the Haryana cricket team in the 2003–04 Ranji Trophy season. He scored 474 runs from six matches at an average of 52.66. [7] In the following year, he scored 654 runs from seven matches, including three hundreds, at an average of 59.45. [8] Three seasons later, he was dropped from the side. [9] In the 2009–10 season, Singh made 617 runs from 5 matches at an average of 88.14. [10] He also made three centuries and became a permanent member of the team. In 2011, as he led his team to the semi-finals of the Ranji Trophy. There, he made a total of 593 runs from seven matches, including two hundreds, at an average of 45.61. [11]

Joginder Sharma is an Indian former professional cricketer who currently serves as a Assistant Commissioner of police in the Haryana Police. He has made sporadic appearances for the Indian cricket team. He also played for Chennai Super Kings from 2008 to 2012. He was a key member of the Indian team that won the 2007 inaugural ICC T20 World Cup, where in the final, he took the winning wicket of Misbah-ul-Haq. During his time with Chennai in the IPL, he was a part of the team that won the 2010 and 2011 tournaments. He is currently serving as a police officer in Haryana.

Piyush Chawla is an Indian cricketer who has played for the India national cricket team. He has also played for the India under-19 team and the Central Zone. He is seen as a leg-spinning all-rounder in domestic cricket. He spent his childhood in Moradabad, and learnt early essentials of cricket at Sonakpur Stadium under the guidance of his first coach Mr Badhruddeen, who has also coached Indian National cricketer Mohammad Shami, and young talents like Shiva Singh and Aryan Juyal. Vikram Raj Vir Singh, commonly known as VRV Singh, is a former Indian cricketer who was a member of the India national cricket team. He is a right-arm fast-medium bowler. He is considered one of the few genuine fast bowlers India has produced over the last decade. After being called into the Indian squad to play Sri Lanka in 2005, he failed a fitness test and was promptly dropped. He finally played his first One Day International against England at Jamshedpur. He debuted in Tests against the West Indies in June 2006. In March 2019, he announced his retirement from cricket. In August 2019, BCCI formed a separate cricket association for Chandigarh and named it Union Territory Cricket Association. VRV Singh was named as the coach of the team.

Shikhar Dhawan is an Indian cricketer. A left-handed opening batsman, he captains Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League and plays for Delhi in first-class cricket. At the 2013 Champions Trophy and 2017 Champions Trophy, Dhawan was the leading run-scorer and was awarded the 'Golden Bat' in both the tournaments. He was the leading run scorer for India at the 2015 Cricket World Cup. He also became the first player in the history of IPL to score two back-to-back centuries. He was awarded the 'Player of the Tournament' for his exploits in the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy, which he won with his national side. In the 2018 Asia Cup which Dhawan won with his national side, he was named Player Of The Tournament as he was the top scorer of the tournament with the bat.

Amarjit Kaypee is an Indian former cricketer. He was primarily a right-handed batsman, and he held the record for the most runs scored in the Ranji Trophy, India's premier domestic first-class cricket competition for a number of years before Amol Muzumdar took the record in 2009. However, despite his success, he was never selected for the Indian national team, an unfortunate feat he shares with the man who broke his record.

Uday Kaul is an Indian cricketer. He is a wicketkeeper-batsman who currently plays for Chandigarh in the domestic cricket. He was a part of Kings XI Punjab IPL team in 2008 and 2009. He has also played for India Under-19 cricket team in 2006. His brother Siddarth Kaul also plays for Punjab.

Ankit Singh Rajpoot is an Indian cricketer who plays for Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket. He is a right-arm medium-fast bowler who made his debut during the 2012–13 Ranji Trophy. He picked 31 wickets in 7 matches in that season at an average of 18.

Gill served as the vice-captain of the Indian Under-19 cricket team in the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup and won Player of the Tournament award. A right-handed opening batsman, Gill holds the record for youngest cricketer to score a double century in One Day International cricket and the highest T20I score by an individual for the Indian team. He also holds the record for the fastest player to score 2000 runs in ODIs.
