Suresh Chandra Deb (born May 1894,date of death unknown) was an Indian politician belonging to the Indian National Congress. He was elected to the Lok Sabha,lower house of the Parliament of India from the Cachar-Lushai Hills constituency Assam in 1952. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
The Indian National Congress (INC),colloquially the Congress Party but often simply the Congress,is a political party in India with widespread roots. LalKrishna Advani;born 8 November 1927,is an Indian politician who served as the 7th Deputy Prime Minister of India from 2002 to 2004. Advani is one of the co-founders and a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is a longtime member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh,a volunteer organisation. He also served as Minister of Home Affairs in the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance government from 1998 to 2004. He was the Leader of the Opposition in the 10th Lok Sabha and 14th Lok Sabha and also the longest serving person of this post. He is widely considered architect of hindutva politics and was power centre of BJP in 1990s.He was prime ministerial candidate of BJP in 2009. He is currently amongst the few living individuals who have witnessed the Indian freedom struggle.
The All India Forward Bloc is a left-wing nationalist political party in India. It emerged as a faction within the Indian National Congress in 1939,led by Subhas Chandra Bose. The party re-established as an independent political party after the independence of India. It has its main stronghold in West Bengal. The party's current Secretary-General is Debabrata Biswas. Sanjaya Sinh is an Indian politician and a former member of the Rajya Sabha. He was twice elected to the Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh during the 1980s and held state ministerial posts. In 1990,he became a member of the upper house of the Parliament of India,which is known as the Rajya Sabha,and in 1998 he was elected to the lower house,called the Lok Sabha. He represented the state of Assam in the Rajya Sabha. He resigned from Rajya Sabha and Indian National Congress to join Bharatiya Janata Party on 30 July 2019.

The All People's Party or Sarbadal was a political party in Assam,northeast India. The party was founded in Dibrugarh by Ahom elites on May 8,1945. It united different groups that sought to challenge the Indian National Congress in elections. The All India Muslim League,the Tribal League and the Ahom Sabha took part in the founding of the party. The party sought to mobilise the Kachari,Muttock and Deuri communities,to compete against caste Hindus for political influence. To a large extent,the party represented tea garden labourers. During its initial period,the party demanded that the British colonial government should create a separate Ahom constituency. The party cooperated with the Muslim League,being united in their opposition against the Congress party.
