The Surrey County Senior League (previously known as the Surrey County Premier League) was a football competition based in Surrey, England. It operated from 1982 until 2003 when it was absorbed into the Combined Counties League, which had itself been called the Surrey Senior League until 1978.
The league was formed in 1982 as the Surrey County Premier League. [1] Teams which were successful in this league were eligible to step up to the Combined Counties League. [2] In 2000 the league changed its name to the Surrey County Senior League, [3] but three years later it was absorbed into the Combined Counties League to form a new Division One of that league. [4]
The town of Haslemere and the villages of Shottermill and Grayswood are in south west Surrey, England, around 38 mi (62 km) south west of London. Together with the settlements of Hindhead and Beacon Hill, they comprise the civil parish of Haslemere in the Borough of Waverley. The tripoint between the counties of Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex is at the west end of Shottermill.
