Survival of the Fittest (2016) was a two-night, two-city professional wrestling event produced by the U.S.-based wrestling promotion Ring of Honor, the 11th Survival of the Fittest. It took place on November 3, 2016 at the Arlington Convention Center in Arlington, Texas [1] and November 4 at the San Antonio Shrine Auditorium in San Antonio, Texas. [2]
Survival of The Fittest (2016) featured professional wrestling matches that involved wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds or storylines that played out on ROH's television program, Ring of Honor Wrestling . Wrestlers portrayed heroes (faces) or villains (heels) as they followed a series of events that built tension and culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches. [3]
Survival of the Fittest is an annual tournament held by ROH. For the 2016 event, the winners from designated tournament matches in Arlington, Texas advanced to a 6-Man Elimination Match the following night in San Antonio, and the winner of that match was declared Survivor of the Fittest, and received a future ROH World Championship match.

Survival of the Fittest is a professional wrestling tournament held by Ring of Honor (ROH). The inaugural tournament took place in 2004, and - with exceptions - has become an annual tradition in ROH ever since.
Jackson Dane Laymon is an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name, Jax Dane. He is known for his tenure with various National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) member promotions. He is a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion, NWA National Heavyweight, NWA North American Heavyweight and NWA World Tag Team Champion. He is also known for his work for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), Impact Wrestling, and Ring of Honor (ROH).
The Top Prospect Tournament is an annual professional wrestling tournament held by Ring of Honor since 2011. The inaugural tournament took place in 2011 and has occurred every year since except for 2012 and 2018.
Dark Panther is the ring name of a Mexican luchador enmascarado, currently working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). He portrays a tecnico wrestling character. His real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. He is the son of Genaro Vazquez Nevarez, better known as Blue Panther, and is a brother of wrestler Blue Panther Jr. and Chachorro Lagunero. Initially wrestling in secret under the ring name Silver, he adopted his father's former ring name Cachorro in 2014, which played off the Blue Panther name. He has since changed his ring on three more occasions: firstly to The Panther (2014–2018), secondly to Black Panther (2018–2021), and then to his current ring name in 2021.
Caleb DeWall is an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Silas Young. He was last contracted for Ring of Honor, where he is a two-time ROH World Television Champion, and has wrestled on the revived Ring of Honor Wrestling in 2023. He also wrestles on the independent wrestling circuit where he is the current Pure Pro Wrestling Michigan State Heavyweight Champion.
Brett Giehl, better known by the ring name Dalton Castle, is an American professional wrestler who is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Ring of Honor (ROH). Castle is best known for his tenure in ROH, where he is a one-time ROH World Champion, a one-time ROH World Television Champion and a two-time ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion. He is also known for his tenure in Chikara, where he wrestled under the ring names Ashley Remington and Dalton Caroline Castle.

It took place on November 13, 2015 at the Turner Hall Ballroom in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and November 14 at the Hopkins Eisenhower Community Center in Hopkins, Minnesota.

Best in the World (2021) was a professional wrestling event produced by American promotion Ring of Honor (ROH) that took place on Sunday, July 11, 2021 live on Pay-per-view. It emanated from the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. It was the 11th event in the Best In The World chronology, and the first event since 2019, for the 2020 event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was also the first ROH event since Gateway To Honor on February 29, 2020 to have fans in attendance.
Death Before Dishonor XVIII was a professional wrestling pay-per-view produced by Ring of Honor (ROH). It was the eighteenth event in the Death Before Dishonor chronology. It took place on September 12, 2021. The show was originally supposed to emanate from the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida, but due to a surge of COVID-19 in Florida at the time, the location was changed to the 2300 Arena at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It marked the last time Death Before Dishonor had Roman numerals in its name.
