Survival of the Fittest (2018) was a professional wrestling event produced by the American wrestling promotion Ring of Honor. This was the 13th Survival of the Fittest tournament, and it took place on November 4, 2018, at the Express Live! in Columbus, Ohio. [1]
Survival of the Fittest is an annual tournament held by ROH. For the 2018 event, the winners from designated tournament matches advanced to a 6-Man Elimination Match and the winner of that match was declared Survivor of the Fittest, and received a future ROH World Championship match.
Survival of The Fittest featured professional wrestling matches that involved wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds or storylines that played out on ROH's television program, Ring of Honor Wrestling . Wrestlers portrayed heroes (faces) or villains (heels) as they followed a series of events that built tension and culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches. [2]

Ring of Honor (ROH) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. The promotion was founded by Rob Feinstein on February 23, 2002, and was operated by Cary Silkin from 2004 until 2011, when the promotion was sold to the Sinclair Broadcast Group. After a deal was struck in March 2022, ROH was officially sold to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) founder, co-owner, president, and CEO Tony Khan two months later.
Martin Scurll is an English professional wrestler. He is best known for his work in Ring of Honor (ROH) as the leader of the stable Villain Enterprises, where he was a one-time ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship and a one-time ROH World Television Champion, as well as being a former member of the Bullet Club stable.
Omar Alvarado García better known by his ring name Stuka Jr. is a Mexican second-generation luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler, who works for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). Stuka Jr. is not, despite what the name indicates, the son of luchador Stuka but is Stuka's younger brother. On September 16, 2022, Stuka Jr. lost a Lucha de Apuestas match to Atlantis Jr., after which he was forced to unmask and reveal his birth name. His mask was styled to look like aviator goggles and an early 20th-century pilot helmet and his tights include designs representing the Luftwaffe's Balkenkreuz insignia, reflecting the Stuka dive bomber from which his name is taken.

His real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. He is the son of Genaro Vazquez Nevarez, better known as Blue Panther, and is a brother of wrestler Blue Panther Jr. and Chachorro Lagunero. Initially wrestling in secret under the ring name Silver, he adopted his father's former ring name Cachorro in 2014, which played off the Blue Panther name. He has since changed his ring on three more occasions: firstly to The Panther (2014–2018), secondly to Black Panther (2018–2021), and then to his current ring name in 2021.
