Surya Daham is a 1979 Malayalam language film based on the novel of the same name by Perumbadavam Sreedharan. It is directed by Mohan. [1] [2] Perumbadavam Sreedharan won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Story and the Kerala Film Critics Association Award for Best Story for the film. [3] [4]

Innocent Vareed Thekkethala, known mononymously as Innocent, was an Indian actor, film producer, writer and politician. He predominantly worked in Malayalam films in addition to few Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and English films, mostly in comedic roles. In a career spanning more than five decades, he acted in more than 700 films and is considered one of the best comedians in Malayalam cinema. He also appeared in roles with negative shades such as in Mazhavilkavadi, Ponmuttayidunna Tharavu and Ganamela. Innocent had won several awards, including Kerala State Film Award and Kerala Film Critics Award. He served as the Member of Parliament in the 16th Lok Sabha (2014-2019) of India representing Chalakudy constituency.

Sai Kumar, also credited as Saikumar, is an Indian actor who appears in Malayalam films. He is the son of Malayalam actor late Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nair. He appears in both positive and negative roles. He notably plays the hero role in Ramji Rao Speaking, and the villain in Makkal Mahatmyam.

Perumbadavam Sreedharan is a Malayalam author from Kerala, India. He is former Chairman of Kerala Sahitya Akademi. He has written several novels and short stories. One of his best known novels is Oru Sankeerthanam Pole (1993) for which he won the Vayalar Award in 1996. He got Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for his novel Ashtapadi. In 2006, he was awarded the Malayattoor Award for his novel, Narayanam.

Nellu (transl. Paddy) is a 1974 Malayalam-language drama film directed by Ramu Kariat from a screenplay by K. G. George based on the 1972 award-winning novel of the same name by P. Valsala. It features an ensemble cast of Prem Nazir, Jayabharathi, Thikkurissy Sukumaran Nair, Sankaradi and Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nair. Ashtapadi is a 1983 Indian Malayalam film directed by Ambili and written by Perumbadavam Sreedharan based on his own novel of the same name. The film stars Menaka, Devan, Sukumari and Adoor Bhasi in the lead roles. The film has musical score by Vidyadharan.

In Return: Just a Book is a 2016 Indian docudrama film written by Paul Zacharia and directed by Shiny Benjamin. The film is based on Perumbadavam Sreedharan's novel Oru Sankeerthanam Pole, about the life and times of Russian writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky. It was screened at the Indian Panorama section of the 47th International Film Festival of India in the Documentary Non-Fiction category.

Savithri Sreedharan is an Indian theatre and film actress. She has been a part of several Calicut-based theatre groups for over forty years and made her film debut in 2018 in the film Sudani from Nigeria which earned her a Special Mention at the 66th National Film Awards. Her other major films are Virus (2019) and Dakini (2018).

Dreaming of Words is a 2021 Indian documentary film directed and produced by Nandan. Dreaming of Words has received numerous accolades including National Film Award for Best Educational/Motivational/Instructional Film (2020) awarded to Nandan as both director and producer at the 68th National Film Awards. The documentary traces the life and work of Njattyela Sreedharan, a fourth standard drop-out, who compiles a dictionary connecting four major Dravidian languages.

K.Raghunathan is a Malayalam novelist, journalist and short story writer from Kerala, India. He is best known for his novels Pathiravankara and Ajnathanama. Raghunathan won the Kerala Sahithya Academy award for best novel in 2007 for Pathira Vankara. He also won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Biography in 2020 for Mukathakandam VKN.
