Suryamal Mishran Shikhar Award is a literary honour granted by the Rajasthani Bhasha Sahitya and Sanskriti Akademi for special contribution to Rajasthani literature. It was established in the memory of the 19th century poet-historian Suryamal Misran. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9]

Kanhaiyalal Sethia was a well-known Rajasthani and Hindi poet. He was born in Sujangarh, in what is now Churu District in the Indian state of Rajasthan. He was a passionate supporter of making Rajasthani, the mother tongue of the people of Rajasthan, at the union level. He was a government-recognized freedom fighter, social worker, reformer, philanthropist and environmentalist. He is known as fulfulling the role of the Yug-Charan for his nationalistic poetry during the freedom struggle.

The Rajasthan Film Festival Award ceremony is a set of awards presented annually to honour both artistic and technical excellence of artistes in Rajasthani cinema as well as in other Regional Cinema of India. The awards were instituted in 2013. The 11th award ceremony was held on 30 September 2023 at Deep Smriti Auditorium. Aftab Shivdasani and Neha Dhupia did the hosting at the award night and Lifetime Achievement Award was given to the Bollywood actor Gulshan Grover. Bollywood Actor Govinda attended the festival as the chief guest.

Hindi Academy is an autonomous organisation in Delhi, India, set up by the Government of Delhi in 1981. The organisation was founded with the objective of promoting Hindi language, Hindi literature and culture. It is also known as Hindi Academy, Delhi. The deputy CM of Delhi, Manish Sisodia is the president of the academy and poet Surendra Sharma is serving as the vice-president.

Brijeshwar Singh, is a writer, poet and theatre promoter based in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India. His patronage and promotion of theatre through the Rang Vinayak Rang Mandal theatre repertoire and the annual theatre festival being organized in his own Windermere Theatre earned him the U.P. Sangeet Natak Academy award for 2020. His Daya Drishti Charitable Trust helps children born with thalassemia avail regular and lifesaving transfusions. His second book 'Next Patient, Please' was released on 26 March 2022. He was featured among top 75 personalities of Rohilkhand region of Uttar Pradesh by Amar Ujala. "Chirja" is a devotional song in Rajasthani and Gujarati literature as a prayer to the female form of divine, Shakti. Chirja is a new poetic form in Shakti-Kavya in Rajasthani literature. Chirjas are primarily sung by women especially during Jagrans during the worship of goddess. The word Chirja is derived from the Sanskrit term Charya.

Thakur Akshay Singh Ratnu was a Rajasthani, Brajbhasha and Hindi poet from Rajasthan. His penned poems criticising the British policies of divide & rule. He is considered as one of the modern traditionalist poets. He was a scholar of Hindi, Rajasthani, Dingal(Old Rajasthani), Urdu, Sanskrit and Prakrit. He has been awarded with epithets of 'Sahitya Bhushan', 'Sahitya Ratna', and 'Kavi Ratna'.

Thakur Zorawar Singh Barhath was an Indian revolutionary and independence activist. He is known for the assassination attempt on the Viceroy of India, Lord Hardinge, by throwing a bomb at him during a procession in New Delhi.

She is the President of the Literary and Cultural Organization Indradhanush and Secretary of the Oriental Research Institute. She has been honored with over 10 major accolades, including the highest honour of children's literature, the Balsahitya Bharti by UP Hindi Sansthan, Lucknow. She has published more than a hundred books, out of which her novel 'Kahe Ri Nalini' was awarded the All India Veersingh Dev Award by Sahitya Academy, Madhya Pradesh. In 2021, she was honoured with the Padma Shri in the field of Hindi literature and education at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Dehli by the Government of India, which is the fourth-highest civilian award of the Republic of India.

Ambadan Rohadiya is a reputed writer, critic, academic, and scholar of Dingala, Gujarati, and Rajasthani and is considered as an authority in Charan literature as well as folk literature of Gujarat. His research works and publications of narrative charanic texts span around four decades. As an academic, Ambadan served as professor and HOD of Gujarati department at the Saurashtra University as well as presided as the Director of the Meghani Lok Sahitya Kendra which annually awards the Jhaverchand Meghani Award.

Kavi Kag Award is an annual award named after the Gujarati poet Dula Bhaya Kag, given to folk artists, writers, scholars and institutions for contributions to Gujarati folk as well as Charan literature. It was instituted in 2002 with the inspiration and blessings of Morari Bapu. The award is presented every year on the death anniversary of Dula Bhaya Kag, on Kag Chauth, at Kagdham (Majadar), Amreli.
