Sven Caspersen (born 1935) is a Danish economist and former rector at Aalborg University.

Sven Caspersen holds a MSc degree in economy from the University of Copenhagen but moved to Aalborg in 1973. Here he joined the newly established university center as it was known back then which had officially opened in 1974. In 1976 Sven Caspersen was appointed as rector of Aalborg University Center (later Aalborg University) and succeeded the very first rector of the university the Swedish historian Jörgen Weibull. Sven Caspersen was rector at Aalborg University from 1976 to 2004 where he was succeeded by Jørgen Østergaard. Sven Caspersen also held the post as chairman of the university board from 2004 to 2006. Jørn Oberg Utzon,, Hon. FAIA was a Danish architect. He was most notable for designing the Sydney Opera House in Australia, completed in 1973. Finn Michael Westby Caspersen Sr. was an American financier and philanthropist. A graduate of the Peddie School, Brown University and Harvard Law School, he was chairman and chief executive of Beneficial Corporation, one of the largest consumer finance companies in the United States. After an $8.6 billion acquisition of Beneficial by Household International in 1998, Caspersen ran Knickerbocker Management, a private financial firm overseeing the assets of trusts and foundations.

2016–17 Danish Superliga 27th season of Danish Superliga

The 2016–17 Danish Superliga season was the 27th season of the Danish Superliga, which decides the Danish football championship. The season was the first with a new league structure in which 14 clubs play each other home and away, until the league was split up in championship and relegation play-offs. The new structure was inspired by the one used by the Belgian First Division A and was approved by the Danish FA, Dansk Boldspil-Union, on 28 June 2015.

Jutland Series is the highest division for men organized by the regional association DBU Jylland and one of the fifth-highest divisions overall in the Danish football league system. The Jutland Association Football Championship was introduced in 1902. At the introduction of the championship, the tournament was placed at the top of the Danish football league system, but has since been moved to its current status as the fifth best level in Danish football, after a short period as the sixth best level, below the Denmark Series at the fourth level.

Overgaden Neden Vandet 33 is a residential property in the Christianshavn neighborhood of central Copenhagen, Denmark. It is one of three properties along with Christianshavn Canal that were built by anchor smith Hans Caspersen and are now known as the Hans Caspersen House, the other being Overgaden Oven Vandet 50 and Overgaden Neden Vandet 33. The building at Sankt Annæ Gade 4 is also associated with Caspersen. The building was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1918.
