V. D. Rajappan was an Indian film actor in Malayalam movies. He was a popular Kadhaprasangam artist in Kerala. He was born in Kottayam, Kerala. He was famous for his own way of inventive style in stand-up comedy in the late 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. He started his career in the 1980s mainly portraying comedian roles and has acted in more than 100 films in Malayalam. He is considered as the godfather of parody songs in Malayalam.

P. K. Abraham was an Indian actor in Malayalam movies. He had acted more than 100 Malayalam films. He was an actor who had supporting roles and character roles during the 1970s and 1980s. He had worked for Malayalamanorama. He had also written some screenplays for Malayalam movies such as Dhruvam, Sreekrishna Parunthu, Nirakkoottu, Sandarbham, Ee Nadu, Kolilakkam, Nattuchakkirittu, Yaamam and Ashtamangalyam. He hailed from Kottayam. He was a good actor known mainly for his diction and command over the English language.People remember him for his role in New Delhi as Sumalatha's father. He had also acted in some Kamal Hassan films-an excellent rapport was seen. He died in the 90s.

His son Manu Varma also a recognized artist and his son-in-law Viji Thampi is a well-known film director. Johnson is a recipient of National Film Awards twice and Kerala State Film Awards five times.

Bichu Thirumala Indian lyricist

Bichu Thirumala is an Indian lyricist and poet from Kerala, who works in the Malayalam film industry. He, along with O. N. V. Kurup, is known for creating the style of arranging beautiful words in Malayalam film songs. In Malayalam cinema, Bichu Thirumala led the group of lyricists who wrote songs for readymade tunes. In 1981, he won the Kerala State Film Award for the best lyricist for the films Thrishna and Thenum Vayambum. Thirumala won the same award for the second time in 1991, for the Rajasenan directed film Kadinjool Kalyanam.
