Syed Badr-ul Hasan Khan Bahadur was an Indian actor and classical dancer who acted in silver screen and television. He was known as Pappu Polister.

Biography

Khan Bahadur was a descendant of Wajid Ali Shah. [1] He acted in The Sword of Tipu Sultan in 1990 where he played the role of Maharaja of Mysore and won a National Award for Best Supporting Actor for acting in this television series. [2] He was a part of Jodhaa Akbar where he played the role of Mulla Do-Piyaza.

Khan Bahadur was a classical dancer too. For his dancing he received an award from Birju Maharaj. [3] He also received honorary doctorate degree in acting from Ambedkar University. [4]

Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani is a 2000 Indian Hindi-language drama film released by Dreamz Unlimited. The producers derived the title from lines of the song "Mera Joota Hai Japani" from Shree 420 (1955). Directed by Aziz Mirza, the film focuses on TV media wars. Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla play Ajay Bakshi and Ria Banerjee, respectively, who are two television reporters for rival news channels, KTV and Galaxy TV. Jodhaa Akbar is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language epic historical romantic drama film directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. It stars Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the titular roles. Set in the 16th century, the film shows the life and love between the Muslim Emperor Akbar of Mughal Empire and a Hindu Princess Jodhaa Bai of Amber, and their political marriage. A. R. Rahman composed the musical score which proved to be critically and commercially successful. The film marks the second collaboration between Roshan and Rai Bachchan after Dhoom 2 (2006).

Rajneeti (transl.Politics) is a 2017 Bangladeshi political thriller film. The film directed by Bulbul Biswas and produced by Ashfaq Ahmed under the banner of Arrow Motion Arts. The film story and screenplay written by Bulbul Biswas himself and dialogue by Delowar Hossain Dil. It feature Shakib Khan, Apu Biswas, Anisur Rahman Milon, Sadek Bachchu, Amit Hasan in lead roles. The film soundtrack is composed by Habib Wahid, Fuad al Muqtadir and Pritam Hasan. It was released on June 26, 2017 on the occasion on Eid al-Fitr in Bangladesh.
