Syed Irfan Ali Shah is a Pakistani politician, writer and agriculturalist. [1]

He is a son of Syed Ghulam haider Shah, has an MBA and is a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Sindh affiliated with the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians. [2]

Provincial Assembly of Sindh is a unicameral house of elected representatives of people of Sindh established under Article 106 of the Constitution of Pakistan. Under this article, the total number of seats for the Assembly through direct vote is 168, of which 29 seats are reserved for women and 9 seats for non-Muslims.

The Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) is a Pakistani political party and an electoral extension of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP). It was created in 2002 by Amin Fahim after Pervez Musharraf imposed restrictions on the PPP and its chairperson Benazir Bhutto to participate in Pakistani politics.

Syed Miran Mohammad Shah was the second speaker of the Sindh Assembly before and after the independence of Pakistan. He was a Sindh member in the Bombay Legislative Assembly before Sindh became a province in 1936. After the accession of Sindh to Pakistan in 1947, he became the first speaker of the Sindh Assembly. He remained speaker of Sindh Legislative Assembly and Minister for the Government of Sindh. Miran Mohammad Shah also served as the first ambassador of Pakistan to Spain after the independence of Pakistan.
