Symphonica is the 11th studio album by the Japanese Zeuhl band Ruins. For this album, Tatsuya Yoshida enlisted the help of a keyboard player (Kenichi Oguchi) and two female singers (Emi Eleonola and Aki Kubota) to remake several older Ruins songs. Yoshida is also joined by bassist Hisashi Sasaki.
Ruins is a Japanese music duo composed only of drummer/vocalist Tatsuya Yoshida and a bass guitarist. The group, formed in 1985, was supposedly intended to be a power trio; the guitarist, however, never showed up to the band's first rehearsal so the group remained a duo. The music touches on progressive rock, jazz fusion and noise rock.
Tatsuya Yoshida is a Japanese musician; drummer and composer who is the only consistent member of the renowned progressive rock duo Ruins, as well as of Koenji Hyakkei. He is also a member of the progressive rock trios Korekyojinn and Daimonji. Outside his own groups, Yoshida is renowned for his tenure as drummer in the indie progressive group YBO2, a band also featuring guitarist KK Null, whom he also joins in the current line-up of Zeni Geva and he has played drums in a late edition of Samla Mammas Manna. He has been cited as "[the] indisputable master drummer of the Japanese underground".
Six/Nine is the eighth studio album by the Japanese rock band Buck-Tick. It was released in a clear purple case on May 15, 1995 through Victor Entertainment. It peaked at number one on the Oricon chart and has sold over 300,000 copies. Issay provides vocals for "Itoshi no Rock Star". "Rakuen " caused controversy because some of the lyrics were lifted from the Quran and later the album was re-issued with the offending part removed by November 1995 in a clear case. It was digitally remastered and re-released on September 19, 2002, with a bonus track. The album remastered once again and released on September 5, 2007 in a clear red case.
Kōenji Hyakkei, also known as Kōenjihyakkei, is a Japanese avant-pop band led by Tatsuya Yoshida, and is "his tribute to the 'Zeuhl' music" of French prog-rock band Magma.

It was the group's last album released through Victor and peaked at number six on the Oricon charts. Cosmos has sold 170,000 copies. The album was digitally remastered and re-released on September 19, 2002, with two bonus tracks. It was remastered and re-released again on September 5, 2007. The song "Tight Rope" was later re-recorded as the b-side to the group's "Alice in Wonder Underground" single in 2007, and "Sane" was re-recorded in 2012 for their "Elise no Tame ni" single.
Tenshi no Revolver is the fifteenth studio album by Japanese rock band Buck-Tick. It was released on September 19, 2007 through BMG Records. The limited edition came with a DVD of the music videos for the singles "Rendezvous" and "Alice in Wonder Underground". Tenshi no Revolver peaked at number five on the Oricon chart and has sold 30,000 copies worldwide. For the album Buck-Tick went for a "band sound," the sound of an ordinary straight rock band.

高円寺百景, also known as Hundred Sights of Koenji, is the 1994 debut album by the Zeuhl band Koenjihyakkei. The album was released in the USA in 2008 by the American record label Skin Graft Records in a new version where drummer and founding member Tatsuya Yoshida has re-recorded the drums and remixed the entire album.

Romantic Warriors II: Special Features DVD is a 2013 documentary film and an addendum to the 2012 feature-length documentary Romantic Warriors II: A Progressive Music Saga About Rock in Opposition. The film was written and directed by Adele Schmidt and José Zegarra Holder, and was released in the United States by Zeitgeist Media. It was generally well received by critics, with a reviewer at AllMusic saying that it "is a showcase for tremendous musicianship and a must-have for existing [Rock in Opposition] fans".
Symphonica is a live album by the English singer-songwriter George Michael and the only live album released during his lifetime. Released on 14 March 2014 through Aegean and Virgin EMI Records, Symphonica was Michael's first album of new recordings since Patience (2004). Michael's vocals were recorded at the Royal Albert Hall during his Symphonica Tour (2011–12), while the string arrangements were recorded in a studio.
