Drum and bass is a genre of electronic music characterised by fast breakbeats with heavy bass and sub-bass lines, sampled sources, and synthesizers. The music grew out of breakbeat hardcore. The popularity of drum and bass at its commercial peak ran parallel to several other homegrown dance styles in the UK. A major influence was the original Jamaican dub and reggae sound. Another feature of the style is the complex syncopation of the drum tracks' breakbeat.

McCartney is the debut solo album by English musician Paul McCartney, released on 17 April 1970 by Apple Records. He recorded the album in secrecy, mostly using basic home-recording equipment at his house in St John's Wood. Mixing and some later recording took place at professional studios in London. In its preference for loosely arranged performance, McCartney eschewed the polish of the Beatles' past records in favour of a lo-fi style. Apart from occasional contributions by his wife, Linda, he performed the entire album alone by overdubbing on four-track tape.

The label has been home to artists such as Danny Byrd, Camo & Krooked, Logistics, Nu:Tone, Metrik, Fred V & Grafix, High Contrast and S.P.Y but also releases tracks from across the DnB genre. In Forest Hill, South London, Hospital also runs the more experimental label Med School Music, the publishing company Songs in the Key of Knife, and their worldwide events brand Hospitality.
Loose Women is a British talk show that broadcasts on ITV weekdays 12:30pm–1:30pm. The show was originally broadcast from Norwich, then Manchester, before moving to London, and focuses on a panel of four female presenters who interview celebrities, discuss their lives, and discuss topical issues ranging from politics and current affairs to celebrity gossip and entertainment news. The 3,000th episode of Loose Women was broadcast on 15 May 2018.
USS Glacier (AGB-4) was a U.S. Navy, then U.S. Coast Guard icebreaker which served in the first through fifteenth Operation Deep Freeze expeditions. Glacier was first icebreaker to make her way through the frozen Bellingshausen Sea, and most of the topography in the area is named for her crew members. When built, Glacier had the largest capacity single armature DC motors ever installed on a ship. Glacier was capable of breaking ice up to 20 feet (6.1 m) thick, and of continuous breaking of 4-foot (1.2 m) thick ice at 3 knots.

The Lick it Up World Tour was a concert tour by American hard rock band Kiss, in support of their 1983 album Lick It Up. It was the first Kiss tour during which the band performed without wearing their trademark make-up. The "tank" stage design from the preceding Creatures of the Night tour was used again, keeping all the same gimmicks, with the exception of Gene Simmons' blood-spitting. The tour included the band's first European dates since the 1980 Unmasked Tour.
To the Stars is an album by American jazz fusion group the Chick Corea Elektric Band, released on August 24, 2004 by Stretch Records. Jazz musician Chick Corea, a longtime member of the Church of Scientology, was inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard's science fiction 1954 novel To the Stars. Hubbard's book tells the story of an interstellar crew which experiences the effects of time dilation due to traveling at near light speed. A few days experienced by the ship's crew could amount to hundreds of years for their friends and family back on Earth.

S.P.Y is a Brazilian DJ, record producer and musician from São Paulo, Brazil. He is influenced by genres such as house, UK garage, R&B and the jungle sound. He primarily releases his music through Hospital Records, the UK-based independent drum and bass music label. His DJ name was Spyder, but two months before the release of his first track he had to change it because another producer from America also released an EP under the same name. He left the last three letters out and changed his name to S.P.Y or SPY.
