Szam Findlay

Szam Findlay is a Canadian electronic music producer who has been active since 1998. While still a teenager he was signed to Rough Trade Publishing . Subsequently, while still in high school his debut album Die Hautfabrik was released by Resonant Recordings/Todtenschlaf [1] in 2001 to acclaim from BBC [2] Allmusic [3] and Incursion. [4] This release marked the beginning of a longtime collaboration with performance artist Dandilion Wind Opaine who provided the artwork for the booklet.

In 2003 the two embarked on a decade long collaboration that encompassed the projects Dandi Wind and Fan Death. Dandi Wind released 2 full-length albums, 5 eps, and a handful of singles amidst extensive global touring alongside bands such as Klaxons, The Horrors, The Presets, Final Fantasy, Simian Mobile Disco and Broken Social Scene. The project was terminated in 2010.

In 2007 with the addition of Marta Jaciubek McKeever the Fan Death project was created. An EP and full-length album was released on Mercury/Universal/Last Gang Records following singles on Erol Alkan's Phantasy Sounds [5] and Tokyo's Big Love records. In support of these releases live shows were performed with Florence and the Machine, Metronomy, Telepathe, Late of the Pier and Franz Ferdinand in addition to a full European tour supporting Vampire Weekend. [6] As of 2011 Findlay has continued the project with new vocalists Kasia Elizabeth and Tessa Marie. [7]

In 2012 both 100% Silk [8] and Big Love Records [9] released 12" EPs from a new collaboration with Manderson under the name Body Double.

The website for the 2013 documentary "Fall/Winter" references his contributions to the score of the film. [10] In 2013 a full-length album entitled "The Fairer Sex" by new vocal project Cry Blue Sky was released via Todtenschlaf.

War Babies (band)

War Babies was an American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington in 1988, fronted by former TKO vocalist Brad Sinsel. Although associated with hard rock, the band's sound incorporated some elements of grunge music. They only released one album, in 1992, the self-titled War Babies.

William Control Electronic music group

William Control is an American electronic music project founded in 2008 in Seattle, Washington. It was the side project of Aiden's William Francis before Aiden's hiatus, and he later operated as William Control full-time. 'William Control' therefore refers to both the band as a whole and to Francis as his stage name. Francis was signed to Victory Records before starting his own independent label, Control Records, and, as William Control, has released five full-length albums, an EP, two acoustic albums, two live DVDs and a remix album (Remix). Fan Death was a synthpop band formed in Brooklyn, New York City, in 2007 as a collaboration between producer Szam Findlay with vocalists Dandilion Wind Opaine and Marta Jaciubek-McKeever. Findlay then moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, where the lineup changed to Findlay and sisters Kasia Elizabeth and Tessa Marie as vocalists. The band is named after the South Korean notion that suggests that sleeping in an enclosed room with an electric fan running can cause asphyxiation.

Dope Stars Inc. is an italian alternative and industrial rock band from Rome, formed in 2003. The band was founded by Victor Love, Darin Yevonde, Grace Khold and Brian Wolfram. They have five albums and three EPs released, with the latest being released on February 27, 2015. The band has signed with multiple labels since their inception, with Trisol Music Group being their first. Currently, their albums are distributed by Trisol in Europe, Subsound in Italy, Metropolis Records in North America, and other small labels including Deathwatch Asia in Japan and other countries.

Dandi Wind

Dandi Wind was a post-industrial band created in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 2003. The band consisted of duo Dandilion Wind Opaine and Szam Findlay. Dandi Wind released two albums, 2006's Concrete Igloo and 2008's Yolk of the Golden Egg in addition to several EPs and singles. Dandi Wind disbanded in 2009, as Opaine and Findlay formed the disco band Fan Death along with Marta Jaciubek-McKeever.

In 2015, he formed the pop rock band Beach Weather which released two EPs: What a Drag and Chit Chat.

Nero's Day at Disneyland was an American experimental breakcore musical project, created by Lauren Bousfield in Oakland, California. Her first album, Attention Shoppers, was released in 2005, followed by From Rotting Fantasylands in 2009. Though the project was cancelled in 2011, Bousfield continued to make music independently.

Canadian electronic musician Aaron Funk, better known as Venetian Snares, has released 30 studio albums, one live album, two compilation albums, 19 extended plays (EPs), eight singles, four promotional singles, one remix, and one music video. Funk began producing music in 1992 and self-released several cassettes during the 90's. His first official release was the 1999 EP, Greg Hates Car Culture, followed by his first full-length solo album, printf("shiver in eternal darkness/n"); in May 2000.
