The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan is the governing body of football in Azerbaijan. Formed in 1992, it is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the amateur and professional game in its territory.

Through his translations, Novruz brought world poetry to the people of Azerbaijan, and his own works have been translated and published in other languages and have also been used as lyrics in many popular Azerbaijani songs.
