T. P. Arumugam is an Indian politician and former Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. He was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly as a Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) candidate from Tiruchengode constituency in the 1996 election. [1] He contested the seat again in 2001, when he came second to C. Ponnaiyan of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. [2] He is founder of Sengunthar Engineering College [3]
