T. Siva

T. Siva is an Indian film producer and distributor in Chennai, India. [1] He has produced 23 films including Saroja and Kanimozhi . He owns the production company, Amma Creations. [2] [3] He is best known for Deiva Vaakku , Aravindhan (in which he introduced Yuvan Shankar Raja), Saroja and Aravaan . [4]

Career

In the late 1990s, Siva faced economic problems following the release of Aravindhan (1997). In early 1999, he attempted to make a comeback though a film titled Conductor Mappillai starring Murali and Swathi but the film was shelved. [5]

Several other popular Tamil television artists and crew members make special appearances throughout the film. The score and soundtrack were composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja with cinematography by Sakthi Saravanan.

Aravindhan is a 1997 Indian Tamil-language film written and directed by newcomer T. Nagarajan and produced by T. Siva. The film stars Sarathkumar, Parthiban, Nagma, and Oorvasi in the lead roles, while Visu, Prakash Raj, Anandaraj, and Thilakan play supporting roles. The film marks the debut of noted music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, musician Ilaiyaraaja's youngest son, and the debut of cinematographer R. Rathnavelu. Pathinaaru (transl. Sixteen) is a 2011 Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Sabapathy Dekshinamurthy, who previously directed the films V.I.P (1997), Punnagai Poove (2003) and A Aa E Ee (2009). It stars Shiva and Madhu Shalini. The film's background score and soundtrack was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. After being launched in October 2008 under the title 16, the film was shot for over one year, wrapping in early 2010. A year after completion, Kalaipuli S. Thanu bought the distribution rights and released the film on 28 January 2011 under his V. Creations banner. However, it was financially unsuccessful. Despite that, it was remade as Jolly Boy in Kannada language.

Panduranga Mahatyam is a 1957 Indian Telugu-language biographical film, based on the life of Pundarika, produced by N. Trivikrama Rao under the National Art Theatres banner and directed by Kamalakara Kameswara Rao. It stars N. T. Rama Rao, Anjali Devi and B. Saroja Devi with music composed by T. V. Raju. The film was dubbed into Tamil as Annaiyum Pithavum Munnari Dheivam (1959) and it was again remade as the Telugu film Pandurangadu (2008).

It stars Jai, Shazahn Padamsee, and Vijay Vasanth in the lead roles. The film features music composed by Satish Chakravarthy, cinematography by Chidamparam and editing done by duo Praveen K. L. and N. B. Srikanth.
