TMA Solutions is a privately owned software outsourcing company in Vietnam, with headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and other offices in Canada, United States, Australia, Singapore, Japan, Germany. TMA Solutions is one of the largest offshore software providers in Vietnam. [1] In 2023, TMA reached 4,000 employees and was recognized as one of Vietnam’s Top 10 Industry 4.0 companies

History

TMA was founded in 1997 [2] with six engineers. [3]
From 1998 to 2004, TMA has three offices with 300 engineers, and new customers from Europe, Australia, Singapore and India. On the list of 15 global companies with “Offshore Software Outsourcing Best Practices” (Aberdeen Group's report).
In 2005, TMA opened the first oversea office in Canada and became an international company providing software outsourcing. Between 2006 and 2008, TMA opened three new overseas offices in Japan, United States, [4] and Europe. Achieved TL9000 and became Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.

Quang Trung Software City, also known as Quang Trung Software Park, is a business park in District 12 of Ho Chi Minh City, approximately 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from District 1. The park focuses on the computer software industry, hosting a number of software companies and schools such as the Saigon Institute of Technology. Established by government decree in June 2000, it officially began operations on 16 March 2001. The initial idea for the park was the brainchild of Nguyễn Thiện Nhân, the Minister of Education, and the design of the park was funded with a grant from the US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) through the efforts of Pacifica Solutions, LLC, a US-based technology company. The facility was designed through a collaboration of the HCMC Educational Committee, Pacifica Solutions and IndoChina Capital, with assistance from the then-current US Ambassador, Pete Peterson.

Japanese language education in Vietnam first became widespread during the Empire of Vietnam, which was set up as a puppet state after Japan's 1941 World War II invasion of French Indochina. However, after Japan's 1945 surrender and withdrawal from Vietnam, there was little further education in the language until the 1970s. A 2006 survey showed 1,037 teachers teaching 29,982 students at 110 different institutions, an increase of 66% in the number of students since the previous year's survey. The Ministry of Industry and Trade is the government ministry in Vietnam responsible for the advancement, promotion, governance, regulation, management and growth of industry and trade. The former Ministry of Trade has its origins in 1945 with the formation of the modern National Unification Cabinet, and became a ministry in its own right in 1955. Đỗ Quang Em was a Vietnamese painter based in Saigon, South Vietnam, then Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He graduated from Gia Định College of Fine Arts in 1965. Along with contemporaries such as Đỗ Thị Ninh (1947-) he was one of the generation of painters who emerged in the early 1980s which rebelled against the traditions of the French EBAI and afterward socialist schools of Vietnamese art. He was for a period sent to a re-education camp. Since 1994 Em mainly exhibited in Hong Kong and overseas, and has had his paintings purchased by Bill Clinton.
