Taantumus is the tenth album by the Finnish experimental rock band Circle.

Contents

First released on CD in 2001 by Bad Vugum, it was re-released by Ektro Records in 2009 with an extra track. According to The Quietus , Taantumus (along with Andexelt and Prospekt ), helped bring the band to wider international audiences. [1]

Uniklubi is a Finnish alternative rock band. It was founded in 1999. The band became well known for its hit "Rakkautta ja piikkilankaa" in 2004. The band's lyrics are in the Finnish language. All members are from the town of Hämeenkyrö, except the bassist Teemu Rajamäki, who is from Ikaalinen. Originally they called themselves 'Pincenez' but they did not get much positive feedback about it, so they renamed their band 'Uniklubi', a Finnish word that means 'Dream Club'.

Pauli Hanhiniemi is a Finnish singer, songwriter and musician, who was born in Alavus. Starting his career in 1982, he formed the famous Finnish rock band Kolmas Nainen in 1982. After the break-up of the band in 1994, he formed Pauli Hanhiniemen Perunateatteri that performed until 2005. He later joined Hehkumo, a band with more traditional sound. In 2009, the highly popular Kolmas Nainen returned with two new studio albums and great commercial success.

Music Inspired by the Life and Times of Scrooge is the first solo album by Finnish songwriter and keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen, best known for his work in the symphonic metal band Nightwish. It was based on cartoonist Don Rosa's The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck, a graphic novel which featured the Carl Barks Disney comics character of the same name. Rosa contributed the cover artwork. The first single, "A Lifetime of Adventure" was released on February 5, 2014 along with a music video directed by Ville Lipiäinen.
