Tachina Peeters (born 27 May 1997 in Bonheiden) is a Belgian gymnast, active in tumbling. [1] She is the 2021 European Champion tumbling. [2]
In 2024, she was awarded the SmartScoring Shooting star award alongside Daniel Schmidt. [3]
Gymnastics is a type of sport that includes physical exercises requiring balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, artistry and endurance. Dominique Margaux Dawes is a retired American artistic gymnast. Known in the gymnastics community as 'Awesome Dawesome', she was a 10-year member of the U.S. national gymnastics team, the 1994 U.S. all-around senior National Champion, a three-time Olympian, a World Championship silver and bronze medalist, and a member of the gold-medal-winning "Magnificent Seven" team at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. She is also the Olympic bronze medalist on floor exercise from the Atlanta games.
Tumbling, sometimes referred to as power tumbling, is a gymnastics discipline in which participants perform a series of acrobatic skills down a 25 metres (82 ft) long sprung track. Each series, known as a pass, comprises eight elements in which the athlete jumps, twists and flips placing only their hands and feet on the track. Tumblers are judged on the difficulty and form of their routine. There are both individual and team competitions in the sport.

Dmitri Vladimir "Dima" Poliaroush is a Belarusian gymnastics coach and former competitive trampolinist. He is a six-time World Champion, seven-time European Champion, and twenty-time World Cup winner. He competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics and the 2004 Summer Olympics, finishing fifth and fourth respectively. Poliaroush was the first man to perform a “Double Full In – Double Full Out” on trampoline and the skill is named after him. He is the only person who has been an active trampolinist and trampoline coach at the Olympic Games.

She is widely regarded as the greatest gymnast of all time and one of the greatest Olympians of all time. Nile Michael Wilson is a former British artistic gymnast. He won an Olympic bronze medal in the men's horizontal bar at the 2016 Summer Olympics; he was a world medallist as a member of the silver-medal winning British team at the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, the first world men's team medal in British gymnastics history. A five-time Commonwealth Games champion, he won the all-around title in 2018, and is a former European horizontal bar champion, the first Briton to win the title. In January 2021, Wilson announced his retirement from competitive gymnastics due to injuries and mental health concerns. In March 2023, he won the fifteenth series of Dancing on Ice with dance partner Olivia Smart.
Alice Nicole Kinsella is an English artistic gymnast and member of the British national gymnastics team. She represented Great Britain at the 2020 Summer Olympics and won a bronze medal in the team event, and was part of the Great Britain team that achieved the highest positions ever achieved in the same event at the 2022 World Championships (silver) and the 2023 European Championships (gold). Kinsella won a Commonwealth Games team title as part of England's gold-winning team all-around squad of 2022.
Léa Labrousse is a French trampolinist. She is a two-time World silver medalist and the 2019 European Games individual champion. She became the first French woman to win gold at the European Trampoline Championships with her synchro partner Marine Jurbert. The 9th European Men's and Women's Artistic Gymnastics Individual Championships were held from 21–25 April 2021 at St. Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland. The 2021 European Championships were an Olympic qualifying event, with two individual spots available for both disciplines. The competition took place on 22-26 May 2024 at the Papp László Sportaréna in Budapest, Hungary. It was the final qualifying event for the 2024 Summer Olympics. The individual Olympic quota from the competition went to Vera Tugolukova and the group quota to Azerbaijan, although these results were disputed by the Polish Gymnastics Federation.
