Tahir Mahmood Khan is a Pakistani politician who was a member of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan, from May 2013 to May 2018.

Khan was born on 24 April 1956 in Quetta, and has a degree in Master of Arts and a degree in the Bachelors of Laws. [1] He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan as a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (N) from Constituency PB-1 Quetta-I in 2013 Pakistani general election. [2] [3]

National Party (Pakistan)

National Party is a social democratic, centre-left political party. It is one of the largest parties active in the province of Balochistan, Pakistan along with Balochistan National Party. It traces its legacy from the Kalat State National Party of Mir Ghaus Bakhsh Bizenjo, Mir Gul Khan Nasir and Mir Abdul Aziz Kurd, and is currently headed by Abdul Malik Baloch.

Provincial Assembly of Balochistan

The Provincial Assembly of Balochistan is a unicameral legislature of elected representatives of the province of Balochistan, and is located in Quetta, the capital of the province. It was set up by Article 106 of the Constitution of Pakistan. The Assembly has 51 directly elected Members of the Provincial Assembly, representing constituencies from each district, as well as 11 seats reserved for women and 3 for non-Muslims. Jam Kamal Khan is the Leader of the House in the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan while Malik Sikandar Khan is the current Leader of the Opposition.
