Taj S.C. was a sport club based in Abadan city in Khuzestan province, southern Iran. Taj was Abadan branch of Taj sports and cultural organization. After the Iranian revolution in 1979 Taj Abadan was dissolved.
Taj Abadan participated in 1970 Iran Local Cup and made to the final four but lost semi final to Pas and managed to secure third place in their only appearance in Iranian league. [1] [2]
One of the well-known supporters of Taj Abadan was Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi. [3]
In 1979 Taj Abadan was dissolved, as one of the results of Iranian revolution.

The 2017–18 Hazfi Shield Cup was the 31st season of the Iranian football knockout competition. The competition begin in August 2017 and the final was played on May 3, 2018. Mehdi Sharifi, then center forward for Persian side Tractor SC was the Cup's top scorer with five goals. The Cup was won by Esteghla FC in a 1–0 victory over Khooneh Be Khooneh. The Finals only goal was scored by Mame Thiam, an Esteghlal forward in the 35' minute of the game. This was Esteghlal seventh Hazfi Cup title.
