Sacred Love is the seventh studio album by Sting. The album was released on 29 September 2003. The album featured smoother, R&B-style beats and experiments collaborating with hip-hop artist Mary J. Blige and sitar player Anoushka Shankar. Some songs like "Inside" and "Dead Man's Rope" were well received; and Sting had experimented with new sounds, in particular the more rock-influenced "This War".
Try This is the third studio album by recording artist Pink. It was released on November 11, 2003. It featured the singles "Trouble," which earned Pink a Grammy Award, "God Is a DJ" and "Last to Know". Try This was certified platinum by the RIAA, despite it becoming P!nk's lowest-selling album. Pink supported the album with the Try This Tour in 2004.
Justified is the debut solo album by American singer Justin Timberlake. It was released on November 5, 2002 by Jive Records. The album was written and recorded in a six-week period, during the hiatus of Timberlake's band NSYNC. For the album, Timberlake began to adopt a more mature image as an R&B artist opposed to the previous pop music recorded by the group. The majority of the album was produced by The Neptunes and Timbaland, and features guest appearances by Janet Jackson, Clipse, and Bubba Sparxxx. Primarily an R&B album, Justified also contains influences of dance-pop, funk, and soul music.
Up! is the fourth studio album by Canadian singer Shania Twain. It was released on November 19, 2002, by Mercury Nashville. Three versions of the album were released: a pop version, a country version, and an international version in the style of Indian film music; all three discs contain exactly the same track listing and feature distinctly identifiable picture labels In the US, Up! debuted at No. 1 with sales of 874,000 copies. On September 23, 2004, the RIAA certified Up! at 11× Platinum, giving her the distinction of being the only female artist to have three consecutive Diamond albums released in the United States. The album was promoted with interviews and television performances including the Super Bowl XXXVII. It was further promoted with the successful Up! Tour, which visited North America and Europe.
Laundry Service is the fifth studio album by Colombian singer and songwriter Shakira, globally released on 13 November 2001 by Epic Records. It is her first album to be primarily recorded in English. After the release of her fourth studio album Dónde Están los Ladrones?, which became a success in Latin America, Shakira was encouraged by American singer Gloria Estefan to record songs in English as she believed the singer had the potential to crossover into the English-language pop market. Shakira was initially hesitant to undertake the project, but later decided to learn English well enough to be able to write songs in the language herself. The title of the album was chosen to reflect Shakira's views on love and music. It was also released as Servicio de Lavandería in Hispanic regions in January 2002. Musically, Laundry Service is primarily a pop rock record but it also experiments with a variety of other musical styles, including Andean music, dance-pop, Middle Eastern music, rock and roll and tango music. The lyrical theme of the album is mostly based around love and romance. Every song on the album was written and produced by Shakira.
Read My Lips is the debut studio album by English singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor. It was released on 27 August 2001 by Polydor Records. After the disbandment of the Britpop group Theaudience, in which Ellis-Bextor served as vocalist, she was signed to Polydor. Prior to the LP's completion, the singer collaborated with several musicians, including band Blur's bassist Alex James, Moby and New Radicals frontman Gregg Alexander. The record was described as a collection of 1980s electronica and 1970s disco music.
In Blue is the third studio album by Irish pop rock band The Corrs, released in 2000 which saw the band become known in the United States. The title of the album comes from a lyric in the song "Give Me a Reason". As well as the UK number one single "Breathless", the album also contains new versions of "Radio" and "At Your Side", which had previously appeared on their previous album The Corrs Unplugged. Mutt Lange co-wrote and produced three songs from the album and Tim Martin was the engineer for the album's tracks for their recordings at Westland Studios and Windmill Lane Studios in Dublin.

Attention! is the third studio album by German recording artist Alexander Klaws. It was released by Sony BMG on Hansa Records on March 10, 2006 in German-speaking Europe. Recorded after a short-living hiatus, it marked a departure from Klaws' previous work with Deutschland sucht den Superstar judge and musical mentor Dieter Bohlen, who gained no credit on the record. Instead, the album features a wider range of producers, including Terri Bjerre, David Stenmarck, Sandi Strmljan, Thorsten Brötzmann, Ivo Moring, and Mirko von Schlieffen.
Verschwende deine Zeit is the debut album by German rock group Silbermond, released on July 12, 2004. Primarily produced by Ingo Politz and Bernd Wendlandt, the album peaked at number 3 on the German Albums Chart and at number in Austria, eventually receiving double platinum status in both countries. On November 11, 2004, Verschwende deine Zeit was re-released as a Special Edition.

Dealing with the 2003 invasion of Iraq, ít was written by Robert Pfluger and Alexander Kahr for her debut studio album Freier Fall (2003), while production was helmed by the latter. Selected as the album's third and final single, the song became Stürmer's second number one hit in Austria, where it was certified platinum by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).
Sebastiano Paù-Lessi, better known by his stage name, Sebalter is a Swiss singer, fiddler, and attorney who represented his country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He performed the song "Hunter of Stars" in the final on 10 May 2014, finishing 13th with 64 points. Sebalter was born in the Italian-speaking canton of Ticino. Prior to Eurovision he worked as a business lawyer, putting his law career on hold to focus on his music career.

German recording artist Alexander Klaws has released six studio albums and fourteen singles. In 2003, he won the inaugural season of the television competition Deutschland sucht den Superstar and was immediately signed to a recording deal with Sony BMG. He made his solo chart debut in March 2003 with the "Take Me Tonight", which topped the German and Swiss Singles Chart and became the second biggest-selling single of the year in Germany. His debut album, Take Your Chance, was released in April 2003 and debuted atop the German Albums Chart. It was certified in three countries, including a gold certification by the Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI). Its second single, "Stay with Me" entered the top ten in Germany. In 2004, Klaws released his second album, Here I Am. It debuted at number one in Germany and produced four singles, from which three became top five entries, including "Free Like the Wind", his second number one hit single, and "Behind the Sun", which reached number two on the German Singles Chart.

Composed by the Triple–M collective, it was written by Mike Michaels, MM Dollar, Sammy Naja, O.K.A.N., and TK-Roxx and produced by Michaels, Dollar, Mark Tabak, and Naja for their debut studio album It's Done (2003). Following Overground's formation on the ProSieben reality television show Popstars – Das Duell, the song was released just one week later as the album's leading single on November 10, 2003.
