Takeley Football Club is an English football club based in Takeley, Essex. The club are currently members of the Isthmian League North Division, which sits at step 4 (Level 8 of National League System). Takeley were promoted to the Step 4 football on the 3rd May after beating Woodford Town 2-0 in the playoff final in front of a record crowd of 1,003 people. Takeley will be in the Isthmian North League for the 25/26 season. Takeley FC play at the Full Vision Stadium, Station Road, Takeley.

History

The club was established in 1903, [1] and joined the Essex Olympian League in 1978. They won the league in 1987–88 and 2001–02, and in 2006–07, won the Essex Premier Cup. After finishing as runners-up in 2007–08, the club was accepted into the Essex Senior League, finishing third in their first season. They also achieved third-place finishes in 2011-12 and 2012–13.
