Tall Pony was a band consisting of Paul Towey and Tony Gage from Cheltenham and Gloucester.

Their song "I'm Your Boyfriend Now" was played first by BBC Radio 1's Huw Stephens at the end of October 2006. The track became the year's most requested song on his show [1] - and subsequently was voted number 1 in the inaugural Dandelion Radio Festive Fifty [2] for 2006. In August 2007 the band split up.

The Festive Fifty was originally an annual list of the year's 50 best songs compiled at the end of the year and voted for by listeners to John Peel's BBC Radio 1 show. It was usually dominated by indie and rock songs which did not fully represent the diversity of music played by Peel but rather the majority opinion among his listeners. After Peel's death the tradition of the Festive Fifty was continued, first by other Radio 1 DJs and then by the Internet radio station Dandelion Radio.

She was well known for her former role as sidekick and Assistant Producer for Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1. She later became the producer for Greg James, before leaving to join Heart Yorkshire as Programme Controller.

Dandelion Radio is an internet radio station founded in June 2006 with the aim of pursuing the musical legacy of the popular and influential BBC Radio 1 disc jockey John Peel. The station takes its name from the record label Dandelion Records founded and run by Peel between 1969 and 1972.

Fire in My Heart

"Fire in My Heart" is the tenth single by Welsh rock band the Super Furry Animals. It was the second single to be taken from the group's 1999 album Guerrilla, and reached number 25 in the UK Singles Chart after its release on 9 August 1999. The track, originally titled "Heartburn", has been described by the band's singer Gruff Rhys as a country and western song with lyrics that offer "soul advice".

Wizard of Ahhhs is an EP by American indie rock group Black Kids, released by the band in August 2007 via free download on their official MySpace page. In November the band launched their official website, where the EP was available for download until March 2008. The EP was recorded at The Glow Studio in the spring of 2007 by fellow Jacksonville musician Jesse Mangum Some of the other demo tracks recorded during the sessions have been leaked on the internet: "Listen to Your Body Tonight", "Designs on AKA You", "I Wanna Be Your Limousine", and "Love Me Already".

<i>Facedown</i> (EP) 2012 EP by the 1975

Facedown is the debut extended play by English rock band the 1975 released on 6 August 2012 through Dirty Hit. It is the debut of four EPs released before the band's self-titled debut. Each song was accompanied by a music video. The lead single, "The City", and "Woman," were performance videos, while "Facedown" and "Antichrist" were more conceptual pieces. All videos were in black and white and directed by James Booth.
