Tania Marmolejo (born September 5, 1975) is a Dominican born, Dominican Swedish American painter. [1]

After studying Graphic Design and Illustration in the cities of Harstad and Kristiansand, Norway, Marmolejo graduated from Fine Arts and Illustration at the Altos De Chavon School of Design, Dominican Republic, 1998. She received the Charles Bludhorn Scholarship to continue studies at Parsons The New School for Design, in New York City, from where she graduated in 2000. [2] [3]

Tania Marmolejo currently lives in New York, where she works as an artist and designer.

<i>K.O.B. Live</i> 2006 live album by Aventura

K.O.B. Live is the second live album released by bachata group Aventura by Premiun Latin Music distributed by Sony Music Latin. It was recorded during the promotion concert tour for their fourth studio album God's Project (2005). The tracks were recorded live in 3 United States locations which where New York City, Boston, and Puerto Rico. They also recorded in Dominican Republic and Colombia. It also contains a DVD with videos of the performance at Altos de Chavón in La Romana, Dominican Republic and at the Madison Square Garden theater in New York. In the first, the group played before some 6,000 people, while in the second they made history by becoming the first bachata group to sell all the tickets before the event for that venue.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Altos de Chavón</span>

Altos de Chavón is a tourist attraction, a re-creation of a 16th-century Mediterranean–style village, located atop the Chavón River in the city of La Romana, Dominican Republic. It is the most popular attraction in the city and hosts a cultural center, an archeological museum, and an amphitheater. The project was conceived by the Italian architect Roberto Copa and the industrialist Charles Bluhdorn.

The Mis Romances Tour was a concert tour performed by Luis Miguel during the year 2002 to promote his 2001 album Mis Romances. The tour consisted in 63 concerts and ran through US, Mexico, Argentina, Spain, Chile, Uruguay, Peru, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. In February he performed at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, California for six consecutive sold-out nights drawing more than 32,000 spectators, beating his previous record of five consecutive concerts in this venue, he played also two more concerts in September. Miguel performed at Mexico's Aztec Stadium for first time in his career in front of 80,000 spectators, and also gave twelve nights at National Auditorium in Mexico City.

Tania Yolanda Medina Collado is a plastic surgeon, host, writer, and ex-beauty queen from the Dominican Republic. In March 2022, she was included in People en Español magazine's list of the 25 most powerful women.

Darío Antonio Suro García-Godoy was a Dominican painter, art critic, and diplomat from La Vega, Dominican Republic, remembered as one of the most influential Dominican artists from the 20th century. Suro's paintings encompassed a wide range of styles from the impressionist mood of his early paintings, to the neo-realism of his maturity, and finally to the abstraction of his later works. The Pa'l Mundo Tour is the first world tour by the reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel to promote their fifth studio album Pa'l Mundo. It consisted of two legs in Latin America and United States. This tour included their first presentation at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico and it marked the first time that a reggateon act sold out two consecutive nights at the venue. Also, their presentation in Radio City Music Hall in New York and Altos de Chavon in Dominican Republic, marked the first time that a reggaeton act performed at those venues. Both concerts were reported sold out.
