Shruthi Ram, known by her stage name Tanvi Ram, is an Indian actress working primarily in the Malayalam cinema. She was a Miss Kerala 2012 Finalist. [1] She is best known for her roles in Ambili (2019) and 2018 (2023).

Career

Tanvi started her career as a banking professional [1] and landed her first role in the film Ambili (2019) in a major role alongside Soubin Shahir. [2] She next acted in the 2020 film Kappela . [3]

She made her debut in Telugu cinema opposite Nani in the film Ante Sundaraniki. [4] She portrayed a significant role in the film 2018 which became an all time blockbuster.

Kappela (transl. Chapel) is a 2020 Indian Malayalam-language social drama thriller film written and directed by Muhammad Musthafa. Movie produced by Vishnu Venu Under his banner Kadhaas Untold. Starring Anna Ben, Sreenath Bhasi, and Roshan Mathew. The music was composed by Sushin Shyam. The plot follows a phone call romance between an auto rickshaw driver, Vishnu, and a village girl, Jessy, who have never met each other. This film received positive reviews for the cast's performances and social message. After the huge success of film, it is remade in Telugu as Butta Bomma, which marks the Telugu debuts of Surya Vasishta and Arjun Das.

<i>Romancham</i> 2023 Indian Malayalam comedy horror film

Romancham (transl. Goosebump) is a 2023 Indian Malayalam-language comedy horror film directed by Jithu Madhavan in his directorial debut and produced by Johnpaul George, Girish Gangadharan and Joby George under the banner of Guppy Films and Johnpaul George Productions. Based on a real life incident faced by the director and his friends during their college days, the film stars Soubin Shahir, Arjun Ashokan, Sajin Gopu, Siju Sunny, Abin Bino, Anantharaman Ajay and Afsal P.H. Set in Bangalore, the plot revolves around seven unmarried men and their usage of an Ouija board, which leads to various subsequent events. The music was composed by Sushin Shyam, while the cinematography and editing were handled by Sanu Thahir and Kiran Das.
