Tara Mahmood is a Pakistani actress and singer. She rose to prominence by playing supporting roles in high-rated films, Seedlings (2012) and Good Morning Karachi (2013). Her performance in drama serials Muhabbat Subha Ka Sitara Hai (2014) and Diyar-e-Dil (2015) earned her a wide spread acclaim. Tara joined the band Rushk in 2014 after five years long hiatus, as its lead vocalist replacing Nazia Zuberi. She has played a role of Masooma in Hum TV's acclaim Ramzan series Suno Chanda and its sequel Suno Chanda 2 . She, alongside her sister Beenish Mehmood are the daughters of veteran politician, Shafqat Mehmood, the former Federal Minister of Education and National Heritage. [2] [3] [4]

Nadia Afgan is a Pakistani actress who appears in Urdu films, television and films. She is known for her work in theatre and television. Her numerous works on television include a series of plays in both Urdu and Punjabi. She rose to prominence when she appeared in the hit TV serial Family Front in 1997. Further success came in 2000 with PTV Home's mostmemorable sitcom ,Shashlik,which was later re-aired on Geo TV in 2011. Afghan garnered wider appreciation for her comic role in Hum TV's blockbuster comedy drama Suno Chanda (2018), and for its sequel, Suno Chanda 2, as Shahana Batool the following year.

Aehsun Talish is a Pakistani television director, producer, and actor. He has worked in many successful television dramas. Ahson made himself as a well-known television director by directing a number of hit serials, such as Deewana (2016), Alif Allah Aur Insaan (2017), Daldal (2017), Tabeer (2018), Suno Chanda (2018), Suno Chanda 2 (2019), and Yeh Dil Mera (2019). For directing the comedy series Suno Chanda, he received a nomination for the Lux Style Award for Best Director.

Samra Bukhari is a Pakistani novelist, screenwriter and playwright. She has written several television series for the satellite television networks in Pakistan since 2011 and is also associated with writing for Urdu Journals and Digest. Some of her commercially successful series are Kis Din Mera Viyah Howay Ga (2011), Gohar-e-Nayab (2013), Gul-e-Rana (2015), Ghar Titli Ka Par (2017), Silsilay (2018).

Pakistani dramas, or Pakistani serials, are televised serials produced in Pakistan. Although most of the serials are produced in Urdu, an increasing number of them are produced in other Pakistani languages such as Sindhi, Pashto, Punjabi and Balochi. One of Pakistan's oldest television dramas is the Urdu serial Khuda Ki Basti, which aired in 1969. Pakistani dramas, like serials elsewhere, reflect the country's culture. According to Farooq Sulehria 1970 & 1980 are considered to be golden old days of Pakistani serials.

Iqra Aziz Hussain is a Pakistani actress who works in Urdu television known for her portrayals in social to comic girl next door. She is the recipient of several accolades, including three Lux Style Awards and four Hum Awards.

<i>Suno Chanda</i> 2018 Pakistani television series

Suno Chanda is a 2018 Pakistani Ramadan romantic comedy series developed by Shahzad Javed, directed by Ahson Talish, and written by Saima Akram Chaudhry. The series celebrates Pakistani wedding traditions and narrates the story of a couple who are cousins in Nikaah, living separately as the Rukhsati is yet to happen, and the relationship between their families. It was aired every day on Hum TV.

Hiba Qadir better known as Hiba Bukhari is a Pakistani actress. She is known for her role as Seemal in Hum TV's Thori Si Wafa (2017), for which she won the Hum Award for Best Soap Actress and got recognition through her role.

<i>Juda Na Hona</i> Pakistani TV series or programme

Juda Na Hona is a 2019 Pakistani television series. It features Shehroz Sabzwari, Mansha Pasha, Alyy Khan, Firdous Jamal, Humera Bano, Maryam Noor, Sonia Nazir, and Tara Mahmood in pivotal roles. The serial began on TV One from 25 February 2019, and airs on Monday.

Abdullah Qureshi is a Pakistani singer, songwriter, and music composer. Born in Islamabad, Abdullah gained recognition from his covers on YouTube. Qureshi also featured in popular music TV program Nescafé Basement Season 4 and performed an original song "Awaz Do".

Meray Dost Meray Yaar is a 2019 Pakistan web television series premiered on Geo Entertainment and YouTube on 26 October 2019. It is co-produced by GroupM ESP and LU Pakistan It has Asim Azhar, Syra Shehroz and Haroon Shahid in starring roles. The series is about college students and their love triangles. Its second season premiered on 18 October 2020 with a total of 7 episodes.
