Waikato is a local government region of the upper North Island of New Zealand. It covers the Waikato District, Waipa District, Matamata-Piako District, South Waikato District and Hamilton City, as well as Hauraki, Coromandel Peninsula, the northern King Country, much of the Taupō District, and parts of Rotorua District. It is governed by the Waikato Regional Council.

It is headquartered in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. Its main competitor in China is Mengniu. In 2018, it is the world's 3rd best-performing food brands.

Lakeland Dairies currently has dedicated operations in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States and exports to 80 countries worldwide.
Banas Dairy (Banaskantha District Cooperative Milk Federation, Palanpur) is a dairy based in the Banaskantha district of Gujarat, India and is Asia's largest milk producer. It was founded in 1969, in accordance with the 1961 rule of the National Dairy Development Board under Operation Flood. Galbabhai Nanjibhai Patel played an important role in the foundation of the dairy. It is headquartered at Palanpur.
Avonmore is an Irish dairy co-operative and food and beverage brand, wholly owned by Glanbia. Avonmore was formed in 1966 as a result of the merger of 30 small rural co-operative creamery societies throughout County Kilkenny. The following year, the co-operative entered into a joint venture with Unigate Limited to construct the largest dairy processing facility in Europe at that time at Ballyragget, and would become Ireland's largest milk producer by the 1970s. Following the 1997 merger between Avonmore and Waterford Foods plc, the company was rebranded as Glanbia.
South Burnett Co-operative Dairy Association Factory is a heritage-listed former factory at Macalister Street, Murgon, South Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by George Gerald Hutton and built in 1929 by H Taylor. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 9 November 2012.
Dairygold Co-Operative Society Limited is an Irish dairy co-operative based in Mitchelstown, County Cork, Ireland. With its catchment area mostly in the Golden Vale, Dairygold processes an annual volume of approximately 1.4 billion liters of grass fed pastureland milk, making it Ireland's largest dairy co-operative and the island's second largest milk supplier. Formed after the 1989 merger of the Mitchelstown and Ballyclough co-ops, by 2018 it had 7000 shareholder members and reported an operating profit of €29 million from a turnover of €993 million. It has c. 1200 employees, lead by CEO Jim Woulfe and CFO Michael Harte.
