Taylor Steven King [5] (born May 30, 1988) is an American former professional basketball player. King played for the Duke Blue Devils, Villanova University Wildcats, [6] and Concordia of the NAIA. where he played the forward position. King attended Mater Dei High School of Santa Ana, where he enjoyed a successful high school basketball career, posting the third highest career point total in California high school history with 3,216 points. High school career

King established several school records while at Mater Dei: total career points (3,216), points in a single season (987 in 2007), career 3-pointers made (370), career rebounds (1,456) and rebounds in a single season (444 in 2006). [7] He participated in the ABCD Camp, a camp for the best high school players in the United States, in each of his 4 high school seasons (2003 to 2006). [8] [9] [10] [11]

College career

King played for Duke his freshman year. He transferred to Villanova University following the spring 2008 semester. Per NCAA regulations, King did not compete in the 2008–09 season, but returned for the 2009–10 season, with three more years of collegiate eligibility.

During the summer of 2010, Taylor King left the Villanova men's basketball team for what a team spokesman said were "personal reasons." [12] On August 11, 2010, it was announced that King had transferred to USC. However, shortly after, it was announced he would not be attending USC but actually the NAIA school Concordia. [13]

Professional career

On October 21, 2011, it was announced that King had made the final 12-man roster for the National Basketball League of Canada's London Lightning. [14] However, on January 17, the Lightning released him, leaving room for him to be signed by the Quebec Kebs on February 2. [15]

On September 17, 2014, King signed a one-year contract with Cheshire Phoenix of the British Basketball League, coached by John Coffino. King made an instant impact, leading the league in scoring with an average of 20.1ppg in 33 games, which included a 36-point game against the Sheffield Sharks. King was also fifth in the league in rebounding, with an average of 9.5rpg.

After the 2017–18 season, King retired from basketball. [16]

Jamal Faulkner is an American former professional basketball player. A versatile forward who primarily played small forward but could also be used at the power forward position, he was one of the top recruits of the high school class of 1989. After having to sit out one year due to poor grades, he played two seasons at Arizona State before being dismissed due to Faulkner's trouble with the law. After missing one more year he finished his college career at Alabama, and went undrafted in the 1995 NBA draft. He then spent 8 years playing professional basketball, mostly in Europe.

He started his high school career at Potomac High School in Dumfries, Virginia, and transferred to Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson in his junior year, winning the Virginia Mr. Basketball award in his senior season in 2000. He then signed to play college basketball at Kentucky, where he stayed 4 years, advancing to the NCAA tournament Sweet Sixteen in 2001 and 2002 and to the Elite Eight in 2003. In 2004, his senior year at Kentucky, he was an all-conference selection. After going undrafted in the 2004 NBA draft Hawkins started his professional career in Italy with LegaDue team JuveCaserta. He has played in Italy, France, Croatia, Turkey, Japan, Poland, Cyprus and Georgia in his 8-year professional career.

Marco Bernard Killingsworth is an American former professional basketball player. He played in three3 different high schools in Alabama, spending his senior year at Central Park Christian Academy, where he was one of the top players in the nation in the class of 2001. He went on to play three years of college basketball at Auburn, and then transferred to Indiana where he played his senior year. He went undrafted in the 2006 NBA draft and started his professional career in Europe with Turkish team Darüşşafaka. He has played several years in Israel, where he earned three All-Star selections. Throughout his career he has played in Estonia, France, Israel, Italy, Puerto Rico, Russia, South Korea, Turkey and Ukraine.

He then moved to the United States, where he played at Artesia High School in Lakewood, California before going back to the Dominican Republic. Throughout his 20-year professional career, Filion has played in the Dominican Republic, France, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Venezuela; in 2007 he was named the LIDOBA Finals MVP. A long-time member of the Dominican national team, he won the silver medal at the 2003 Pan American Games and the gold medal at the 2004 Centrobasket.
