Mark Simon Cavendish is a Manx professional road racing cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Deceuninck–Quick-Step. As a track cyclist he specialises in the madison, points race, and scratch race disciplines; as a road racer he is a sprinter. He is considered one of the greatest road sprinters of all time.

Novak Djokovic is a Serbian professional tennis player. He is currently ranked as world No. 1 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). Djokovic has won 19 Grand Slam men's singles titles and 84 ATP singles titles overall, including a record nine Australian Open titles and a joint record 36 Masters events. He is the only player to win all of the "Big Titles" on the modern ATP Tour – that is, all four Grand Slam tournaments, all nine ATP Masters events, and the ATP Finals. In particular, he is also the only player in the Open Era to achieve a double career Grand Slam, as well as the only player to complete the career Golden Masters, which he has done twice.
Samuel Ryan Bewley is a New Zealand racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Team BikeExchange. Bewley has also competed for UCI ProTeam Team RadioShack and BikeNZ PureBlack Racing. He has raced in nine Grand Tours, including five Vueltas a España and three Giros d'Italia. He made his sole Tour de France appearance to date in the 2020 edition of the race.

The 2018 Tour de Hongrie was a road cycling stage race that took place in Hungary between 14 and 19 August 2018. It was the fourth edition of the Tour de Hongrie since its revival in 2015, and was rated as a 2.1 event as part of the 2018 UCI Europe Tour.
The 2021 Tour de France is the 108th edition of the Tour de France, one of cycling's three grand tours. Originally planned for the Danish capital of Copenhagen, the start of the 2021 Tour was transferred to Brest due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, with Copenhagen hosting four matches in the UEFA Euro 2020 and that event also being rescheduled to 2021 due to the pandemic. Originally scheduled for 2 to 25 July 2021, the Tour was moved to 26 June to 18 July 2021 to avoid the rescheduled 2020 Summer Olympics. This would have been the first occasion on which the Tour de France had visited Denmark. Denmark will now host the Grand Départ in 2022.

The 2021 UAE Tour was a road cycling stage race that took place between 21 and 27 February 2021 in the United Arab Emirates. It was the third edition of the UAE Tour and the first race of the 2021 UCI World Tour.
