Tecmo World Cup '93 is a soccer video game released in 1993 by Sega for the Master System. The game is a continuation of previous Tecmo football games such as Tecmo World Cup '90 and Tecmo World Cup '92.
The game replicates matches of football with the option of 45, 30 or 15 minutes per half. In multiplayer two human players can play each other. Single player has a world cup tournament consisting of a group stage, second round, quarter finals, semi finals and final.
The player can select one from twenty-four available national teams.
Tecmo Super Bowl is an American football video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) that was released in December 1991. FIFA has licensed FIFA World Cup video games since 1986, of which only a few were received positively by the critics, but given the popularity of the competition, they all did positively on the market, and the license is one of the most sought-after. Originally in the hands of U.S. Gold, Electronic Arts acquired it in 1997 and is the current holder.
Tecmo Super NBA Basketball (テクモスーパーNBAバスケットボール) is a basketball video game developed by Sculptured Software for the Super NES. The game is the SNES equivalent of the original Tecmo NBA Basketball. It also came out a year later for the Sega Genesis.

Originally held by TecMagik, it was then held by Gremlin Interactive in 1996, EA Sports from 2000 until 2012. Konami had the rights for 2016 and 2020. EA Sports have again had the rights since 2024.
Tecmo Cup Football Game is a cancelled 1993 association football sports video game. While the game was about to be published by Sega with license from Tecmo for the Sega Mega Drive, it was cancelled due to the release department of Sega Europe's policy regarding third party games. The game would have enjoyed a Europe-exclusive release because the game was heavily promoted on many magazines and promo videos at the time. 'SuperJuegos' magazine from Spain even had a VHS promotion video including footage of the game and promoting its further release. There is a ROM of this game available on the Internet despite not having been released in cartridge form.

Ninja Gaiden is an action adventure hack and slash video game developed by Team Ninja and published by Tecmo for the Xbox. It was released in March 2004. Set in the futuristic version of the 21st century, players control Ryu Hayabusa, a master ninja, in his quest to recover a stolen sword and avenge the slaughter of his clan. It was inspired by Tecmo's Ninja Gaiden series, and is set in the same continuity as Team Ninja's Dead or Alive fighting games.

The objective of the game is for the player to fight his way from junior league all the way to the finals of the World Cup.
Tecmo Super Bowl III: Final Edition is a football video game released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and the Sega Genesis. According to a spokesperson for the game's developer/publisher, Tecmo, the subtitle "Final Edition" refers to it being the last football game Tecmo would make for 16-bit systems.

While predated by Sega's World Cup, Football is credited with popularizing the trackball controller and is also the first non-racing vertically scrolling video game. It distributed in Japan by Namco in 1979.
Tehkan World Cup, originally released as World Cup in Japan, is an association football video game released to arcades in 1985 by Tehkan, the former name of Tecmo. It features multiplayer gameplay and trackball controllers. It was released in both upright and table arcade cabinets, but was most commonly released in a cocktail cabinet form factor. Its arrival coincided with the buildup to the 1986 FIFA World Cup. It featured the then colors of several of the world's top teams such as West Germany, Argentina and Brazil, although it did not mention any team by name.
