Ted Poley (born January 5, 1959)[ citation needed ] is an American musician who is best known as the lead vocalist of the hard rock band Danger Danger. Previously performed in Prophet as a drummer.
Theodore Harris Poley was born on January 5, 1959, in Englewood, New Jersey to a Jewish family. His father, a lawyer, wanted his son to become a lawyer too, and in 1977, Poley received his law degree.[ citation needed ]
However, Ted soon joined progressive rock band Prophet as a drummer, appearing on their self-titled debut album, released in 1985. In addition to playing drums, Poley performed lead vocals on the songs "Heart of the Night", "It's Real" and "Listen to Ya'".[ citation needed ]
In 1987, Poley was approached by Bruno Ravel to join Danger Danger as a lead vocalist and he accepted.[ citation needed ] With Danger Danger, Poley enjoyed much success as the band caught the late surge wave of 1980s glam metal. Together they released two albums ( Danger Danger and Screw It! ) and toured with bands like KISS, Alice Cooper, and others.[ citation needed ]
In 1993, he finished recording Danger Danger's third album, Cockroach , but was surprisingly fired from the band. They hired another singer (Paul Laine) and attempted to release the album with new vocals, but Poley sued and prevented the album from being released.[ citation needed ]
The same year, he formed a new band called Bone Machine with guitarist John Allen III (Tommy Lee's band). They released their first album titled Dogs in 1994, touring the UK the following year and releasing the live record Search and Destroy. In 1996, they released their last album titled Disappearing, Inc., notable for featuring an eerie premonition of what would happen in the 2001 9/11 attacks in the cover art. [1]
In 2000, he joined the band Melodica with Gerhard Pichler on guitar. As a band, they released several albums: USAcoustica, and Lovemetal among them. During this time, Poley returned to the U.S. and played for the first time in seven years.[ citation needed ]
In 2001, Danger Danger finally released the album Cockroach after reaching an agreement with Epic Records. The album featured two discs: one with the Poley vocals, and the other with the new vocals by the band's new singer, Paul Laine.[ citation needed ]
In 2002, Poley's band (now known as Poley/Pichler) released an album titled Big. This album featured Gerhard Pichler on guitar, Joe Slattery on bass (with whom Poley had played before in Lush back in the early 1980s) and Slattery's bandmate from the AOR melodic rock band Norway, Marty Brasington on drums.[ citation needed ]
In 2004, he rejoined Danger Danger and started touring with them again.[ citation needed ]
In 2016, he formed Tokyo Motor Fist with Trixter guitarist Steve Brown. Their first album was released on February 24, 2017. [2]
Vincent John Cusano, better known by his stage name Vinnie Vincent, is an American guitarist. He is a former member of the rock band Kiss from 1982 until mid-1984 during the band's transition out of their 1973–1983 makeup period. Vincent was the last member to wear a unique makeup/costume configuration, as the character of The Ankh Warrior, until he and the band were first shown without the makeup during an interview on MTV in September 1983. He founded his own band, Vinnie Vincent Invasion, which had minor hits in the hair metal genre.

Creatures of the Night is the tenth studio album by American rock band Kiss, released in 1982. It was the band's last for Casablanca Records, the only label for which Kiss had recorded up to that point. All Systems Go is the second studio album by American glam metal band Vinnie Vincent Invasion, released on May 17, 1988. All Systems Go featured new vocalist Mark Slaughter, who replaced Robert Fleischman. The band toured in support for this album, headlining small clubs, but broke up after the completion of the tour at the end of August 1988. The album features Yngwie Malmsteen's vocalist Jeff Scott Soto on backing vocals. The album consists of new recordings of songs from Vincent's careers with Kiss and the Vinnie Vincent Invasion. Featured artists include Steve Brown of Trixter, Troy Patrick Farrell of White Lion, T.J. Racer of Nitro, Sheldon Tarsha of Adler's Appetite, Chris Caffery of Savatage and Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Ryan Roxie from the Alice Cooper band and rock & roll comic C.C. Banana, who performs a parody of the Kiss song "Unholy".
"Unholy" is a song by American hard rock band Kiss, written by Gene Simmons and Vinnie Vincent. Featured on their 1992 album, Revenge, the song is one of the three Vincent co-writes to appear on the album despite the fact that he had been fired from the band 8 years earlier. The release of "Unholy" signaled the return to a heavier sound for Kiss. The song was played live during the Revenge Tour and was included on the 1993 live album Alive III, but did not return to the live Kiss set list until 2004's Rock the Nation Tour.

"Rise to It" is a song by the American hard rock band Kiss, released on the band's fifteenth studio album, Hot in the Shade in 1989. It is the opening track on the album and was released as the third and final single on April 1, 1990. However, it only charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and Mainstream Rock Tracks. The band only performed the song during the Hot in the Shade Tour. It is the final single by the band on which Eric Carr plays drums. He was diagnosed with terminal heart cancer following the supporting tour.
