Thomas Edward "Ted" Brown is a former American college and professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons during the late 1970s and 1980s. Brown played college football for North Carolina State University, where he was recognized as an All-American. He was a first-round pick in the 1979 NFL Draft, and played professionally for the NFL's Minnesota Vikings. Brown's son, J. T. is a former National Hockey League player.

Theodore Ginn Jr. is a former American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 14 seasons. He played college football at Ohio State and was drafted by the Miami Dolphins ninth overall in the 2007 NFL Draft. Ginn also played for the San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, and Chicago Bears as a return specialist and wide receiver.

Ted Fritsch American baseball, basketball, and football player

Theodore Leo Fritsch was an American baseball, basketball, and football player who played running back for the National Football League's Green Bay Packers from 1942 to 1950. He also played two seasons for the Oshkosh All-Stars of the National Basketball League. Fritsch also played as an outfielder for the Portsmouth Cubs, Nashville Vols, and Los Angeles Angels minor league baseball teams in 1944. He attended Spencer High School in Spencer, WI and the High School's football field was named after him. Notre Dame High School in Green Bay is also named after him. Fritsch died in 1979 of a heart attack
