Teddy Newton is an American animator and voice actor, best known for his work at Pixar Animation Studios.
Newton worked as a storyboard artist on 2 Stupid Dogs , The Iron Giant , and Dexter's Laboratory , and as a character designer on The Iron Giant, The Incredibles , and Ratatouille , all three of which were directed by Brad Bird. He also co-wrote the short film Jack-Jack Attack and voiced characters in the The Incredibles, Ratatouille, WALL-E , Up . He voied the Chatter Telephone in Toy Story 3 and Mini Buzz in Toy Story Toons: Small Fry . His directorial debut Day & Night was nominated for Best Animated Short Film Oscar at the 83rd Academy Awards. [1]
By November 2012, Newton was slated to direct an untitled Pixar feature film, with Derek Connolly writing the screenplay. [2]
In November 2018, it was announced that Newton would direct Sneaks. [3] However, in October 2021, he was replaced by Rob Edwards. [4]
In September 2019, it was announced that Newton will create the story for and co-direct a Funko film with Mark Dindal for the Warner Animation Group. [5] In February 2021, Newton was confirmed to write the screenplay for it, in addition to his story-writing and directing duties. [6]
Newton is married to Stacey, a story manager at Pixar Animation Studios. They have a son Ace, born on January 21, 2011. [7]

The Iron Giant is a 1999 American animated science fiction film produced by Warner Bros. Feature Animation and directed by Brad Bird in his directorial debut. It is based on the 1968 novel The Iron Man by Ted Hughes, and was written by Tim McCanlies from a story treatment by Bird. Set during the Cold War in 1957, the film centers on a young boy named Hogarth Hughes, who discovers and befriends a giant alien robot. William Everett "Bud" Luckey was an American artist, cartoonist, illustrator, musician, singer and voice actor. He worked at the animation studio Pixar, where he worked as a character designer on a number of films, including Toy Story, Toy Story 2, A Bug's Life, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, Cars and Ratatouille. Luckey was also the voice of Rick Dicker in The Incredibles, Chuckles the Clown in Toy Story 3 and as Eeyore in Winnie the Pooh (2011).

Ratatouille is a 2007 American animated comedy-drama film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. The eighth film produced by Pixar, it was written and directed by Brad Bird and produced by Brad Lewis, from an original idea by Jan Pinkava, who was credited for conceiving the film's story with Bird and Jim Capobianco. The title refers to the French dish ratatouille, and also references the species of the main character, a rat. Day & Night is a 2010 American animated short film written and directed by Teddy Newton in his directorial debut and produced by Pixar. It was shown in theaters before Toy Story 3. and has been released to purchase on iTunes in the United States. Unlike most other Pixar shorts, the animation style combines 2D and 3D elements, and Up production designer Don Shank says it is "unlike anything Pixar has produced before".

The second film, Incredibles 2, was released on June 15, 2018, received mostly positive reviews and set the record for best opening weekend for an animated film with $183 million. The series has grossed a combined $1.8 billion worldwide.
After Sundance, Connolly moved up to Emeryville to work at Pixar, where he's writing an untitled project for Teddy Newton (Day and Night). 'It's totally different, the way they do things up here. You're here everyday. You don't go away for three months and come up with a script. You're involved with a director and it's very collaborative.' The Pixar gang also told him 'not to dumb it down or treat animation like it's for kids.'
