Teheiura Teahui (born 7 May 1978) is a French Polynesian cook, host and television personality. He is mainly known for his participation in the Koh-Lanta show on TF1.
Teahui was born in Papeete, French Polynesia, and grew up on the island of Taha'a. [1]
Her first name means “the royal crown”. [2] His father was adopted. His mother spoke to him in French to prepare for his future life. On his island he learned craft activities such as weaving and began to cook traditional food. [2]
He moved to France at the age of 20 to study at the University of Montpellier, but instead trained as a chef. [3] In 2015, he opened his food-truck named Le Manatoa [4] which means "The spirit of the warrior" in Tahitian. [5] He was also elected French barbecue champion several times. [6]
Teheiura became known to the general public in 2011 during his participation in Koh-Lanta: Raja Ampat in Indonesia . He reached the final but failed to win, being beaten by Gérard Urdampilleta. [7]
He tried his luck again in 2012 in Koh-Lanta: La Revanche des Héros, then in 2014 in La Nouvelle Édition, and in 2020 on Koh-Lanta: L'Île des héros. In his first three comebacks, he was eliminated midway through, finishing in 8th, 6th, and 9th place respectively. As a result, he is each time a member of the final jury. [8] [9] [10]
He currently holds the record for most days of survival in the game with 103 days. [3]
In the spring of 2021, Teheiura appeared in episode 3 of Koh-Lanta: Les Armes Secrètes at the end of the comfort game. However, he is not a candidate for the show, but shares his story and his survival techniques with the winning tribe. [11]
In April 2021, the cast of the seventh special edition of Koh-Lanta, entitled Koh-Lanta: La Légende, was revealed and it is announced that Teheiura will participate for the fifth time in the show. [12] He then declares that it is “his last Koh-Lanta”. [13]
In 2021, during his participation in Koh-Lanta: The Legend filmed in French Polynesia, he was eliminated in the eleventh episode, after having denounced himself for cheating with the production (he signalled that he was hungry to fishermen who brought him food twice). [14] [15] In a long message posted on his Instagram account, he explained that he had "several times received requests from adventurers" to ask Polynesians for food. He adds that he gave in and then shared the food with other candidates. [16] He explains that he denounced himself to the production. According to Le Parisien, Claude and Sam also benefited. [15]
In 2013, he participated in the show Fort Boyard on France 2 with Cyril Féraud, Stéphan Rizon, Danièle Évenou, Aïda Touihri and Samuel Étienne. [17] The team played for the Cœur de gazelles association.
In 2016, he took part in the show Ninja Warrior : Le Parcours des héros on TF1. [18]
In 2017 and 2018, he co-hosted with Laurent Maistret the show École Aventure on Télétoon+. [19]
In 2020, he participated in District Z, a game presented by Denis Brogniart and broadcast on TF1.
In 2020, he participated in the Boyard Land Halloween special, presented by Olivier Minne on France 2. He played alongside Candice Pascal, Magloire and Terence Telle in favor of the Sourire à la vie association.
On 2 December 2014, he published his book Culinary Adventure. [20]
A second book recounting his life as an adventurer, Aventurier dans l'âme, was published on 22 August 2020 by the publisher Au vent des Îles. [21]
Patrick Poivre d'Arvor is a French TV journalist and writer. He is a household name in France, and nicknamed "PPDA". With over 30 years and in excess of 4,500 editions of television news to his credit, he was one of the longest serving newsreaders in the world until he was fired in 2008. He presented his last newscast on TF1 on 10 July 2008. Since 2021, a total of 27 women have accused Patrick Poivre d'Arvor of sexual assault or rape that would have allegedly happened during decades prior. Seventeen women filed a formal complaint. Among them, eight did so for alleged rape.

Denis Brogniart is a French sport journalist and television host. He presents the show Koh-Lanta since 2002 and Formula One racing on TF1 with Marion Jollès Grosjean.
Koh-Lanta: Raja Ampat is the 11th season of Koh-lanta, the French version of Survivor. This season takes place in Indonesia on the archipelago of Raja Ampat Islands, and began broadcasting on TF1 on 9 September 2011, every Friday at 8:45pm before Secret Story 2011.
Koh-Lanta: Panama was the fourth season of the French version of Survivor, Koh-Lanta. Like season three, this season was held in Panama but in the archipelago of Las Perlas. It was broadcast TF1 from Friday July 2, 2004 to Tuesday August 31, 2004. This season the contestants were initially divided into two tribes known as Chapera and Mogo, both of which consisted of eight contestants of the same gender. Following a tribal swap on day eight many contestants found themselves living on new tribes. Due to two evacuations that occurred this season, both Linda and Sophie returned to the game following their initial eliminations.
Koh-Lanta: Pacifique was the fifth season of the French version of Survivor Koh-Lanta. This season was held in New Caledonia on the Isle of Pines. It was broadcast on TF1 from Tuesday July 5, 2005 to Tuesday August 31, 2004. The two tribes original tribes this season were Kanawa and Kumo. Episode one of this saw the first ever double tribal council to occur in the history of Koh-Lanta. The reason for this was because it was discovered that the Kumo tribe had all openly discussed who would be leaving at the first tribal council. Due to the voluntary exit of Aude, a joker, Caroline entered the game in episode two. This also caused the re-entrance of Francis into the competition.
Koh-Lanta: Palawan was the seventh season of the French version of Survivor, Koh-Lanta. This season took place in Philippines in Palawan, and was broadcast on TF1 from June 29, 2007 to September 11, 2007 airing on Fridays at 6:55 p.m. The two original tribes this season were Batang and Guntao. Due to the voluntary exits of Ali and Andrien, both Grégoire and Pascale re-entered the competition after their initial eliminations. This season, like in Bocas del Toro, both finalists received three jury votes and were both given the titles of Survivor.

Koh-Lanta: La Revanche des Héros is the 3rd special season of the French version of Survivor, Koh-lanta. This season takes place in Cambodia on the island of Koh Rong, and was broadcast on TF1 in April 2012, every Friday at 8:45pm.
Koh-Lanta: Viêtnam was the tenth season of Koh-Lanta, the French version of the reality television series Survivor. The season took place in Con Dao, Vietnam. The two original tribes this season were Do and Vang. For the second time in the show, the men were the red tribe and the women were the yellow tribe. However, two contestants would be the only members of their gender in their tribe. The season premiered on 17 September 2010 and concluded 17 December 2010 where Philippe Duron won the season in a 6-1 jury vote against Claude Dartois to win the prize of €100,000 and the title of Sole Survivor.
Koh-Lanta: L'Île au Trésor was the sixteenth season of the French version of Survivor, Koh-Lanta. The main twist this season is that there is an island separated from the two tribes known as Treasure Island. On the island is a buried chest which contains the Golden Ring, an item which secures the owner a spot in the final five. In order to open the chest, the contestants must find ten metallic pieces, each of which points to the next marker. Once all ten pieces are found, the chest can be opened.

Koh-Lanta: Les Armes Secrètes is the twenty-second regular season and the twenty-sixth season overall of the French reality television series Koh-Lanta. For the first time since Cambodge, the series is filmed outside of Fiji, being filmed in Taha'a, French Polynesia. Twenty contestants from across France are split into two tribes to fight for food & win immunity to avoid tribal council whilst trying to not be voted off. The main twist this season is that there are secret weapons that can be used by the contestants to advance their game. Some of the weapons include, "Vote Hijacking" which allows a vote to be stolen from another contestant, the "Black Bracelet" allowing a hidden immunity idol to be cancelled after being played & the "Secret Ambassador" which allows a contestant to secretly save a contestant from elimination from the ambassadors without their realisation. The grand prize is €100,000. The season premiered on 12 March 2021 on TF1.
Koh-Lanta: Malaisie is the twelfth regular season and the fifteenth season overall of the French reality television series Koh-Lanta. This season has 20 contestants compete in two tribes of twenty in Seribuat, Malaysia competing in challenges for rewards & immunity to avoid going to tribal council to vote off one of their own. The main twist this season is after the first challenges, the contestants do a schoolyard pick until there's 4 left. The 4 not selected are banished to another island until the first tribal council where they'll return and reintegrate with the two tribes. The season premiered on 2 November 2012 & concluded on 1 February 2013 where Ugo Lartiche won against Brice Martinet in a 10-1 jury vote to win €100,000 & win the title of Sole Survivor.

The season was filmed in Luzon, Philippines where 20 contestants were divided into two tribes of ten competing in challenges to win the grand prize of €100,000. The main twist this season are the hidden immunity idols, which are now hidden all over the game such as: at immunity challenges, in the sea, in camp, in areas that are well-hidden. More-so than in previous seasons. The season aired on TF1 and premiered on 13 February 2024.
