Teldeniya Town is a village in Sri Lanka. It is located within the Central Province and about 20 kilometers from Kandy town. Teldeniya town was originally located at a slightly different location from today's location. It was submerged in water when building the Victoria Dam and the remains of the old town still emerges in drought seasons.

Meemure is a village with a population of about 400. It is located near the border between Kandy District and Matale District in the Knuckles Mountain Range. Meemure is one of the most remote villages in Sri Lanka with the only access via a 14 km (8.7 mi) trail from the town of Loolwatte. There is no cellular service available in the village, but a CDMA telephone service is available. There is no direct mail delivery to the village; a villager journeys each day to Thapal Junction to exchange incoming and outgoing postal mail with a postman.
Elgin Falls is a waterfall in Sri Lanka, located in the Elgin tea estate which is 18 km (11 mi) from Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. The waterfall is 25 m (82 ft) in height. Elgin Falls named after Elgin, a major town of Moray in Scotland. the falls is at about 1,500 m (4,900 ft) above sea level. There are several ways to access the waterfall. When traveling by railway between Nanu Oya and Ambewela the falls can be seen picturesquely.
Victoria Dam is an arch dam located 130 mi (209 km) upstream of the Mahaweli River's mouth and 4 mi (6 km) from Teldeniya. It is named in honor of Her Majesty, Queen Victoria, Empress of the British Empire.

Teldeniya(තෙල්දෙණිය) was a town in Kandy District in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. But now it is only for a name, because it was submerged during construction of the Victoria Dam.
