Czech Television is a public television broadcaster in the Czech Republic, broadcasting six channels. Established after breakup of Czechoslovakia in 1992, it is the successor to Czechoslovak Television founded in 1953.
Český rozhlas (CRo) is the public radio broadcaster of the Czech Republic operating continuously since 1923. It is the oldest radio broadcaster in continental Europe and the second oldest in Europe after the BBC. Český Rozhlas was established in 1992 by the Czech Radio Act, which sets out the framework for its operation and financing. It acts as the successor to the previous state-owned Czechoslovak Radio which ceased to exist by 1992.

ČT24 is a 24-hour news channel in Czech, owned and operated by Czech Television. The channel was launched on 2 May 2005.
The Czech TV crisis occurred at the end of 2000 and lasted until February 2001 as a battle for control of the airwaves, which included jamming and accusations of censorship. On 24 December 2000, news programs on Česká televize (ČT) were interrupted by Jana Bobošíková, a veteran presenter at the channel and the newly appointed head of the news department, sitting next to Jiří Hodač, a former BBC employee who had been appointed general manager of ČT on 20 December.

Lower Vítkovice (Czech: Dolní oblast Vítkovice) is a national site of industrial heritage located in the Vítkovice district of Ostrava in the Czech Republic. It includes an extensive industrial area Vítkovice ironworks with a unique collection of industrial architecture. A set of three successive parts - coal mine, coke ovens and blast furnace operations - also called Ostravian Hradčany, after Hradčany, the Castle District of Prague. The area is registered in the list of European cultural heritage, and was placed on the Czech Republic's list of tentative UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 2001 under the name The Industrial Complexes at Ostrava.
Případy 1. oddělení is a Czech crime television series. The series is based on real criminal cases investigated by Czech Police. People involved in screenwriting of the series include Jan Malinda and Josef Mareš. The series was selected the best Czech crime television series in last decade. Main characters are based on real life investigators and other people. The cases reflect some of the most famous real criminal cases of the modern Czech Republic. The Series was renewed for third season to be aired in 2022. Season 3 concluded on 28 November 2022.
Spravedlnost is Czech crime television series. It tells story of police investigator Richard who investigates murder of prominent judge that was committed by his daughter Lily. The first episode premiered on 12 March 2017. It was directed by Peter Bebjak. Vetchý who starrs in the series collaborated with Bebjak on Případy 1. oddělení.

Mikoláš Josef is a Czech singer-songwriter and former model. He represented the Czech Republic in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal with the song "Lie to Me", and finished in sixth place, the best result for the Czech Republic in Eurovision history.
ČT3 was a Czech public television channel, operated by Czech Television. ČT3 broadcast originally in 1993 when it replaced the previous station OK3. Unlike the other two channels of the Czech Television at the time, ČT1 and ČT2, ČT3 broadcast its program largely in foreign languages and 24 hours a day.
Stíny v mlze is a 2022 crime drama television series by Czech Television. The premiere on ČT1 screens took place on 3 January 2022. The series was directed by Radim Špaček and the script was written by Zdeněk Zapletal. It consists of 12 episodes, each presenting a different case from Ostrava and its surroundings. The main roles of the investigators were played by Petra Špalková, Jiří Vyorálek and Petr Panzenberger. The daughter of Petra Špalková's character was played by Anděla Tichá, the real daughter of the actress. On 22 March 2023 Czech Television announced the series was renewed for season 2. Season 2 premiere was scheduled to start broadcast on 8 January 2024 but was delayed following 2023 Prague shooting as one episode is dealing with a topic of school shooting.
Vinaři (Winemakers) is a Czech television series from Prima televize. It is set in South Moravia and was broadcast by Prima station from 31 August 2014 to 13 December 2015. It was written by Petr Kolečko. This is the third series of this television in 2014.[4] The first season had a total of 16 episodes, which aired from late August to mid-December 2014 every Sunday in prime time. The subtitle reads: "A series about wine and the people around it". The opening song "Wine" is performed by the band Chinaski. On 9 June 2015, the preparation of the second season was confirmed, and the broadcast of which began on 30 August of the same year. With the transfer of the story from South Moravia to Polabí, the opening song also underwent textual changes.
Televize Seznam is a Czech full-format commercial television station offering nationwide broadcasting in the Czech Republic. Its director is Ivan Mikula, the operator of Seznam.cz is Ivo Lukačovič. It started broadcasting on January 12, 2018, at 7:00 a.m. and focuses mainly on documentaries, series and films, while also offering programs of its own creation originally broadcast on Seznam Zprávách or on its website. The title of the most-watched program was won by the fairy tale Give the Devil His Due, which had a share of 14.61% in the target group of 15–69 years on Christmas Day, which at the time represented an average viewership of 339,000 viewers. Right after it, the fairy tale film The Brave Blacksmith (13.45%) and Once Upon a Time, There Was a King...... (10.89%) were the most watched fairy tale films during the Christmas holidays. The first episode of the new TV series Seznam, entitled Revír, achieved an above-average share of 5.21% in the audience group 15–69 on Saturday, March 25. A total of 167,000 viewers over the age of 4 watched the start of the series. This is shown by the data of the official ATO-Nielsen Admosphere viewership measurement. The second episode broadcast subsequently on Televize Seznam gained a share of 4.32%*.
Television studio Brno is a legally established regional studio of Czech Television in Brno. It was established in June 1961 as the third non-Prague studio of the then Czechoslovak Television, and began broadcasting on July 6 of the same year with the live composed program Sedmikrásky nad Brnem. The studio was located in two buildings in the city center, since 2016 it has been broadcasting from a building in the outskirts of Brno-Líšeň. At the end of 2020, it had 237 employees. The Zlín newsroom and its staff also fall under the responsibility of the newsroom of Television Studio Brno.
Archive and program funds of the Czech Television is a specialized archive of the Czech Television. Organizationally, it is divided into three separate departments in Prague, Brno and Ostrava.
Council of Czech Television is the body exercising the public's right to control the activities of Czech Television. Its responsibilities are regulated by Act No. 483/1991 Coll. about Czech Television.
