Fin.K.L is a South Korean girl group formed by DSP Media in 1998 consisting of members Lee Hyori, Ock Joo-hyun, Lee Jin, and Sung Yu-ri. Fin.K.L was one of the most popular K-pop groups of the late 1990s and early 2000s, alongside rival girl group S.E.S. The group cemented their popularity in South Korea with the release the songs "To My Boyfriend" in 1998, "Forever Love" in 1999, and "Now" in 2000.
Lee Kyung-eun, better known by her stage name Harisu, is a South Korean pop singer, model, and actress. Born male, Harisu knew she wanted to present herself as a woman from early childhood, and underwent sex reassignment surgery in the 1990s. She is the Republic of Korea's second transgender entertainer, and in 2002 became the second person in Korea to legally change their gender. Her stage name is an adaptation of the English phrase "hot issue".

It was seen as her comeback album following a two-year absence from the Korean music scene, and marked a change in her image with an emphasis on being "cute" rather than "sexy". The album itself features pop music that ranges in style between R&B, hip hop, disco and slow ballads. Harisu's then boyfriend Micky Jung also worked on the album, his contributions including a rap on "Winter Story", which was released as a digital single in December 2005. A music video was filmed for lead track "Reaction", a song written by Shin Myeong-gu, who had previously produced albums for Diva and NRG. The album peaked at #46 on the MIAK K-pop albums chart, selling 1,596 copies in its first month of release.
YB, formerly known as Yoon Do-hyun Band (Korean: 윤도현밴드), is a South Korean rock band. Formed in 1996, the band consists of Yoon Do-hyun, Heo Jun, Kim Jin-won (drums), Park Tae-hee and Scott Hellowell (guitar). YB rose to major popularity and success during the 2002 World Cup, and once again in 2011 through appearing in the Korean TV show I Am a Singer. They have performed across the world and regularly headline major rock festivals in South Korea.
